How to Change COS (Class of Service) Password

If you set the all line and set restrictions to no restrictions, you are not restricted from making any calls. I don't think it's the phone system requiring this 4 digit code. Are you sure all your lines are set with the same long distance provider. Did the lines in the dial 8 group require a code. (ie some users had the long distance provider set up their lines to need a code entered to charge calls off to different job codes, so they can distribute the charges correctly). You should now be able to call 9+1+area code+number, with no restrictions.

You will need to change the programming for the ext that you want to have the lines appearing on. Enter programming - Feature **266344 PW - 266344 Press the show key - (top right arroe that is lit on the display) Enter the ext # you want to change this will bring you to line appearance press top r arrow line assignment press top right arrow show line - enter 001,002 or whatever line(s) you want to ring. press the change softkey for each line to appear and ring instead of unassigned. Press the next (bottom r arrow) to go through each line after entering 001.... then release. *** Make sure the sets you change are not forwarded to voicemail after a certain amount of rings otherwise all calls ringing on the newly programmed set will go to that persons voicemail.

Nec telephone manuals

Answer> Manuals: If you want FREE manuals for your device, you must go directly to the maker of your hardware device. Look for their SUPPORT (Drivers and Downloads) and input the required data such as the Make, Mod. of the device in question. They will then take you to the proper section where Drivers and Manuals are located. Here you simply select the option you want to download and install your drivers or open a manual. Manuals often come down in PDF format and require Adobe Reader. Get Reader form http://www.Adobe.com .

I have Nortel Networks T7316 and cannot dial out.

Check your cables and make sure everything is plugged in! Also make sure your company doesn't have any restrictions for the number you're trying to call - it can happen sometimes. If everything fails try to consult the user manual.Nortel t7316 pdf manual
