I cannot ring other phones in our office and my phone doesn't display when other employees are on the phone
Hi Kym,
It sounds like your phone might be a bit of a lone ranger! Try cloning someone else's phone settings to your phone and see if that solves the problem for you. You can do this by:
Feature **266344
Password: 266344
You should see Terminals and Sets. Press the Show button.
It should ask the for extension number, so enter the extension of someone whose phone is working properly.
Press Copy
It'll say "Copy SystemData" Change that so that it copies subscriber as well.
Press Next. It'll say Copy Single. Press Next
Enter your extension number when it says Copy to:
Once it has finished, hang up and give your phone a try once it has updated.
How do you transfer a call on a Nortel t7208?
This is usually programmed as one of the 'soft' buttons down the right hand side of the device - subject to the programming of your phone / and the system.Usually the T7208 is connected to the BCM range of PBX systems - in which case, to transfer a call, you'd use Feature 70. You could, of course, program this into one of the buttons yourself, so you only have to press one button to do so.Hope this is of use to you. :)
Displaying "message" but not message in voicemail
THis is usually because it thinks that there is something there, but the code path to 'clear it" doesn't follow the same logic path. Sometimes, adding a new message - i.e. dial your number from elsewhere, to create a real message waiting, and then clearing that, resets this.
Turn off the auto attendant for the Nortel Phone
To turn off the auto attendant:
Press the program key. The display will indicate:
PLEASE SELECT
PNON ANSW OTHER
Press the key under ANSW. The display will indicate:
AUTO ATTND: ON
BACK CHANGE NEXT
Press the key under CHANGE. The display will indicate:
AUTO ATTND:OFF
BACK CHANGE NEXT
That's it. Now press the program key to finish. If you need more detailed instructions, please follow the user manual: Nortel pdf manual

Names are different on voicemail and extentions how do I change them on the voicemail
Hi Denise,
You should generally delete and re-add mailboxes when someone new takes over an extension. It allows the new person to customize the mailbox from scratch.
If all you want is to change the name, go:
Feature 983
Password: 1020000
Select Mbox
Enter the Mailbox number
Hit Next until you see the name, and then select change.
Enter in the new name, press next, and then hang up.
How do I unlock mailbox locked

Hi D,
You should go into your voice mail and check your Outdial settings. If Outdial is turned on, you`ll need to deactivate call forward from there.
