1120e phones keep rebooting

The phone's configuration is likely corrupt and it will need to be reset to factory defaults and reprogrammed. To stop the reboot cycle, try this: - Connect the phone to POE (Power Over Ethernet) injector, but do not plug in a data cable into the injector. - When the message "Cable Unplugged" appears on the screen, connect a data cable to the POE injector. The phone should return to an online state.

How do I fix voice mail and auto attendant features lost on Nortel Norstar mics 4.1

You can restore a recent configuration backup from diskette but if you don't have a backup you will need to rebuild the configuration from scratch. You may also have a failed hard drive or a failed supercapacitor that did not retain memory when the power was cycled. These components will need to be replaced before you continue with reprogramming. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dave_fb2c45146b845cea

Incoming caller ID on a Option 11 Meridian - can you recieve the incoming caller ID?

I believe so. You will need to know the construction of the caller ID string sent by the telco through PRI and then the ICS needs to be programmed to display the portion(s) of the string desired by the customer. Is there another way to know I have a voicemail without checking the lines periodically and listening for the beeps? Also when I transfer a call to another number it does not provide the callers ID on

These features are handled by the system, not by the phone. You need to ask you administrator to enable the message waiting indicator on your voice mail. When you transfer a call the incoming CLID flashes only for a brief second on the target display. I am not sure that can be changed - it depends on your Nortel hardware and OS version. Resetting Admin

Try using FEATURE **2223772 2223772#. This is the access server admin. There might be a path there to reset passwords. On the MICS side use FEATURE **266344 266344# to access the system programming and password reset features. Is there a "translation" for Nortel Network serial numbers? Can you tell the Country of Origin from the SN?

Hi I have found a manual here which gives information regarding key codes and serial numbers on Page 66. It can be downloaded and saved in pdf format from here: http://data.manualslib.com/pdf2/31/3005/300494-nortel/callpilot.pdf?bc5faed6f2944386bbe43827bb387143 I have not found anything regarding serial numbers and Country of Origin, although I expect that a Nortel engineer would have such a reference, I just can't find it in the public domain - Sorry. Hope this is of some help even if not as complete as I would prefer, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

Does the phone run on batteries

The phone can get some power from the loop like a basic telephone. That should suffice to make phone calls. But many of the advance features and display options cannot work on loop power alone. You have to get a special plug that plugs into the wall AND the phone jack. Then plug the phone into that. I am not aware of any battery in the phone.
