Press Feature 985 - press 9 even when not listed in options. At the password prompt enter 73738767793 and answer the reset password prompt with yes. This will reset the password to default.

Sounds like your going to have to reset the administrator password to get in.To reset the administrator pasword enter feature 985 press 9, at the password prompt enter 73738767793 (resetsmpwsd) and press ok or #,press yes to reset password. password should be defaulted to 0000. then try Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your password is 120000 if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your password is 1020000.

Looking through a bit, you may be in an 'outgoing calls barred' state. which you may need to talk to your sys-admin about. See Page 14 of the document. There are also sections about logging in and logging off the phones later on. If your sys-admin has set phones so that they need to be logged into to make calls (perhaps to track long distance charges), then perhaps you are logged out.

Enter the * code, enter a few pasuses (Feature 78), enter the outside phone number.
i.e *88PPPXXX-XXXX

It's not so much removing Denied in Admin as it is enabling whatever feature the user was trying to access at that set.

Does the two-line display say "Line in use" when you try select the line, or is the indicator next to the line button lit (so to speak), or both? First, try Feature * 0 then press each line key to see if they really are assigned to lines 2 and 3... they could be other functions or multiple appearances of another line.
