Noritz tankless water heater/dishwasher not hot enough to clean

You are doing everything you can. Your dishwasher probably isn't drawing enough hot water to activate the unit so opening the faucet and flowing more water will activate the unit. Just try to adjust the flow from the faucet to a point it, plus the draw from the dishwasher, will activate the unit. This will come with trial and error as I am sure you have already experienced. Also, open the dishwasher when it does get filled and check the water temperature. You might have the unit set at a low discharge temperature. Do you have a touchpad to control the water temperature adjustment?

What is code blinking 20 on noritz tankless hotwater heater N_069M

The error is a HIGH LIMIT THERMAL ERROR. That means Calcium buildup has appeared in the unit. It is also called scale. To clear the error you have to power it off. That is done by the circuit breakers. You should descale the unit first though.

Will not light

Check that it's clean. Get a shop vac, if needed, to clean out the entire pilot area. Do NOT use can aresol spray unless it is 100% compressed air. You can have an explosion!

Error Code 90 Solution

Over time after about 5 to 6 years many Noritz heaters tend to display error code 90 and stop working. The unit has to be shut off and back on for it to work again for a short time. Error code 90 is indication of abnormal combustion and can have a few causes, including blockage in the exhaust vent. However the problems lies mostly with the combustion fan. that is the fan that you hear when the unit is running. It is unable to deliver enough air to normal combustion. Replace the fan and while doing it clean the air pathway with compressed air. In addition remove the ignition and heat senors (all in one assembly, in the middle of the unit) and sand them very slightly with very fine sandpaper (400 or higher) to remove build up on them. While the fan is being ordered you can at your own risk operate the unit with the cover slightly open (about 2 in.) at the bottom and the unit will run without code 90. It is highly recommended to hire a trained technician for the above work as gas appliances pose a significant danger to human life and property if not installed or maintained properly. Noritz tankless water heater not producing hot water

I called Noritz error code 16 is a overheat problem. Noritz say's to flush your coil with vinegar or CLR.
Use a small pump to recirculate the CLR or vinegar through the system for 45 minutes and flush with fresh water. This worked for me.

Error code 14 shows on the remote for a noritz

This means the thermal fuse has broken and needs replacement. The thermal fuse is a white cord which wraps around the heat exchanger. It typically breaks if the unit is excessively dirty and sooted. Before the fuse is replaced you should make sure the unit is cleaned with compressed air and descaled.

Heavy vibration

Mine was due to an incorrect gas manifold pressure setting. Call Nortitz technical support and they will walk you through setting it correctly. You will need a manometer but a cheap one will cost less than $100 and is cheaper than a service call.
