My nordic track treadmill won't decline
My wife had the same problem with her treadmill. I turned the beast on it's side, and unscrewed the plastic casing that houses the motor, computer, and all the electronics to the treadmill. I unplugged the incline/decline motor. Then on the bottom of the treadmill the long threaded rod that causes the incline needed to be moved. So I unbolted it from the catch, and manually screwed the rod back in with a wrench. Now the treadmill works fantastically, of course the incline/decline mechanism has been disabled, but I would rather have a treadmill with the incline disabled than have one always on 100% incline. Hope you found this helpful :)

Of course after you did check the step before. See the block diagram that I did for your illustration.

When I turn on my
hi,
There are two possibilities for this problem
1. Check the speed sensor on near the motor pulley. Remove the sensor and clean it and re-fix it. then make a try. if problem remains then
2. The motor speed controller is faulty. There is an IGBT for controlling the motor speed. If it get shorted the motor will run it its high speed.
Be sure before opening the treadmill remove the power.
ok

Shuts down when in use.
This sounds like a static electricity problem.
First, check your outlet for a proper ground connection.
Be sure that the ground pin on the plug has not been removed.
Depending on the model, a number of machines came with connecting clips to ensure that the upper console was grounded. They were installed during the time of assembly between the frame and console. Check your manual assembly instructions to see if yours is one of these, and check to be sure they have been installed.

I have a new NordicTrack
you will need to attach star washers to the rear roller bolts, they are having an issue with the lock washers they put on the rear roller bolts. Replace them with star washers. Tighten belt until it can be lifted about 2"-3" in the center.
