did you test the reed switch to see if it working? and check the connection on the board

do you hear the motor running but the belt is not? if it is the belt need tightened or the drive belt may have broken. remove the motor hood to inspect

did you check and see if there are brushes on the motor? they may need changed

first check and see what the circuit is rated at. it you have too many thing on that circuit(light,tv,etc) this will trip your breaker because of the amp draw of the treadmill. nordictrack recommends a dedicated circuit of 20amp. you may nned to have a circuit put in with 12/2 wire

if the walking belt slips there are adjustment bolts at the rear.one on either side. turn each one about a half turn then recheck.

try pushing upon the deck to relieve the pressure on the latch. then pull the knob

check and see if the wire got caught anywhere making it short

try pushing up on the walking deck to relive the pressure the pull the knob out to lower

check the upright wire that run up the right upright. make sure it is connected at both ends and there are no bent pins

unfortunately the only way is to order a new incline motor

if you mean the walking belt. is it slipping? if so there are two bolt at the rear of treadmill that need tightened to remove the slack in the belt

It sounds like you have one of two things happening. The first is a small short in the wiring, in which case, you need a new one. The second is almost as bad, your unit needs adjustment, which is probably cheaper and easier to buy a new unit on e-bay or amazon.

No really. You need to replace the entire walking belt. Not to hard of a job and most replacement belts come with some instructions. We use www.treadmillpartszone.com for parts.
