Double check:
Chances are that "$%#T Happens" is not your problem. And that if it worked prior to "dis-assembly, it should work after re-assembly". The common denominator is you took it apart & put it back together. So.. something was missed. A wire not connected, a switch not flipped, a wire in the wrong spot, the safety key not in the slot, etc, etc.

Don't know why you would need to up the supply power what is the mains power meant to b it could b motor or start up capacitor on motor if fitted

did you test the reed switch to see if it working? and check the connection on the board

do you hear the motor running but the belt is not? if it is the belt need tightened or the drive belt may have broken. remove the motor hood to inspect
