Extreme noise in elliptical when using
With regard to the clunking in the NordicTrack E7sv it turned out to be the left side wheel to crankshaft connection. It had come loose. I removed the left side foot rods and wheel cover plate for access. I re-seated the wheel on the shaft and tightened the hardware. Noise gone. So is all the squeaking associated with it loosening.
Why my new treadmill did not work .
I was surprised when my treadmill would not perform for me. I was going to call a repair person when I remembered that the electrify was off during the night. My daughter in law said the treadmill had to reset itself. I turned it back on and she was right . It did reset itself within a few minutes. Hope this helps someone else. Thanks for your quick response.

I had the same problem with my Nordic track. I pressed every button until I found the one that did not beep. The one that does not beep is stuck. My problem was with the Ifit button. The first few times I would push the bad button until it started beeping. That worked for awhile (couple of weeks but started up again). I disconnected the Ifit unit and now the thing work fine except for Ifit which I never used. Nordic track wanted to sell me a new console which cost more than the machine.
