You don't have to replace the ECM unless there is a problem with it. New keys will have to be programmed into the ECM and that is probably something that should be done by the dealer. The keys and programming are going to be pretty expensive.

Which light? What type of car? Anything from a bad bulb to wiring or lack of power to light or a bad ground. If it is the service engine light on a car with the OBDll system it may be that the power fuse is bad. It usually is the fuse that powers the accessory outlet . Check your car manual to see where your fuses are located and check that fuse. Hook up a code reader and if it does not work than that could be your problem.

suggest you get a free scan for trouble code from autozone, advance auto part or other auto parts that gives free scan. also check your fuel system, you may need new fuel filter.

Need more info But off the top of my head it sounds like a clogged Catalytic converter that is restricting the exhaust causing back pressure to the engine cylinders and loss of power.

Remove door inner handle window winder arm rest if fitted remove door panel and undo the glass from window regulator turn on its side and lift upwards.

You do not say what year and model, petrol or diesel. Carb or injection. As a general rule for petrol engines adjustment is made at the carburettor. Watch the linkage at the carb as the the gas pedal is operated then released. you should see the linkage rest against a stop screw (normally with a spring around the threads) Backing this screw off will allow the revs to drop down.
