My dsi has no sound at all
It could be either internal speaker damage, internal circuit damabe or problems with the headphone jack. Try plugging in headphones if you have sound then you have no internal circuit damage. Try cleaning the headphone port with a cut off Q-tip. Also sit it in a warm dry place for a few days. If the sound still does not work the speakers may need to be replaced.
Ds lite screen not working
Hi, I suggest the same as Gaming Great. The wifi board may have just come loose on it's contacts. (as you look at the pcb it is on left of the silver game slot. Press back on if loose.
You can always fold a piece of paper and push into the square hole inside the rear of the casing. This will help keep it on if loose.
HOW DOES A NINTENDO DS WORK
1. turn it on with the side button on the right.
2. beforehand either insert a ds game at the top or gb game at the bottom.
3. you can choose whether to play the game or use the ds as a camera, web interface, or messaging in between ds's
My ds lite won't turn on.
Regular tap water contains minerals that are left behind as the water dries out. So, even if you did get all the water out, the minerals can still cause damage. In addition, the DS has a 'soft power switch' and that means that as long as the battery is in the device (as it probably was when sprayed) there is electricity present that can destroy the unit while water is there. Most probably, the water already did some damage when the unit got wet and the minerals and/or previous damage may have finished the job later when the unit was turned on. Some water may have even been left in the system since it can hide in areas that the dry rice will not be able to "draw" out. The best way to dry out a device is quickly remove the battery, take the entire system apart and clean the individual components and run some distilled water over the components to remove the mineral content of tap water before it dries on the boards/contacts. The DS lite system is relatively inexpensive these days, I think your best solution might be buying a good used one off Ebay (units can be had for around $50 today). May want to take apart any cartridge you had in it the old one and check for water in there, just in case, before using it in the new(er) one, too. Sorry for the bad news.
What if i dont have an nintendo sd card
You must have atleast one thing. The original disc for Nds or a memory card otherwise the game will not be saved. Even you can not play any game due to no memory installed in Nds.

System data error
Hi, I have been experiencing the same problem with all 3 consoles that i have in my house.
Firstly you need to remove the R4 card from the slot, make sure your ds is charged if not charge it up a bit, then you need to change the date on your system to before the problem occurred, i changed mine from the 19th back to the 12th and this sorted the problem. Lots of people have been having this problem lately and this has sorted it, however we dont know if it will occur again when the system reaches the same date perhaps if it does moving the date forward to the real date might work, lets hope so!
Good Luck.
How do you get rid of the white screen of death on a ds
What is the screen doing? Does it just flash for a second then turn off? Or does it stay like that until turned off?
It could be the screen itself or the ribbon connecting it to the motherboard. Open your DS and see if the ribbon is messed up in any way.
It could be the motherboard, too, which could mean you need to replace it.
If it flashes for a second then turns off, it means that the screen that didn't flash (be it top or bottom) is needing repair.
Left in rain
put the dsi into a bag of uncooked whit rice and leave it there for a week then try again the rice will pull the moisture out
I bought a brand new DS lite online, it functions
I had just repaired two of these with the same problems, and ran into two different solutions! First solution is too check with a little flash light inside the game cartridge area where you insert the game for bent pins that may contact each other when the game is inserted, the solution is to take apart and repair the bent pins by straightening them out, or buy a new cartridge holder from ebay to solder on the board. This fixes no read and shut down of ds, and is a permanent fix, until someone jams a cartridge back in and bends the pins again. The other fix, is to buy a new motherboard I found that one had a circuit malfunction which caused this issue. Most likely and a lot of times it is in fact bent pins causing this because when inserting the game into the cartridge area over and over with force or putting it in backwards and forcing it by someone that doesn't know any better will create the problem and that leaves you two options I stated above: If you can fix the bent pins you might have success, if you can solder, you can replace the game cartridge on the motherboard, and or replace motherboard if that failed. If you don't do none of these you have the option to get it repaired, sell it back on eBay. The pins are fragile and can be bent in ways not repairable in that case you would safe time and effort to buy a game cartridge on line, cheap few bucks, and solder it onto motherboard to fix your issue. Just look for game cartridge slot reader for your type of ds on eBay! Good Luck!
When charging DS lite the light stays orange
The issue is not with the fuses or with the battery. That end is working properly if the light stays a constant orange. The issue is with the other end, how the system powers on. Check the power slider (on mother board) or the L2 inductor (located below the slider). Chances are the tab on the slider has broken off or the L2 slider broke off from the motherboard.
Reseting megamind the blue defender game
Usually a hard reset of the game will (Works for most DS games) Before powering on the game, or in the case of DSI or 3DS before clicking on the game icon. Press hold the "A," "B," "Y," "X," "R," and "L" buttons simultaneously while holding these down turn on the game or press the game icon.
The game slot is not working
Unfortunately it sounds like the cartridge slot has a broken or bent pin of the reader. It will require repair to work.
