Sesame Street 1996 train engine not reacting to remote
If your Sesame Street train engine is not responding to the remote, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the batteries: Make sure the batteries in both the train engine and remote are fresh and properly inserted.
Check the connections: Make sure the train engine and remote are properly connected and paired. There may be a reset button on the engine or remote that you can press to reset the connection.
Check the distance: Make sure you are within range of the train engine. If you are too far away, the remote may not work.
Check for obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions blocking the signal between the remote and train engine, such as furniture or walls.
Contact customer service: If none of these steps work, you may need to contact the manufacturer's customer service for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or offer a replacement if the train engine or remote is faulty.

He doesn't move he sings bit he doesn't move
'make model (what it is)' in all questions please. Let's guess it is some type of toy, so I moved it to the Toys category from 'Home'..
They move with small servo motors. Take it to your local Model Shop. They will know someone that fixes them.

Repairing a 60s Fisher Price Ferris wheel mechanism
A worn gear should still work. You can buy gears from Amazon. You need the diameter and the number of teeth on the outside and on the centre shaft.
Your best bet would have been to take it to a local model shop, as they normally know someone that does repairs.

My 6 ft Santa will sing a few songs in English and then change to spanish
Hi,
you can attempt a power cycle to see if the issue will stop. Then, please check for any switches on the santa that control language choice and choose specifically english (as opposed to both). Otherwise, you might have to reach out to Svius on there website in order to arrange for a replacement or repair.
Thank you.

I have a scientific toys union pacific g scale locomotive.
I don't think it will, but you only need to cut one wire. That reduces the risk of the two wires shorting and damaging something. Tape off the wire so it won't accidentally contact anything. You might first want to check the manual to see if there is a way to disable the smoke generator without cutting anything - maybe there's a hidden switch that does the job.
