Power comes on, no view
Hello, it got the famouse Russian rattle, something has broken loose. For a Night Owl Optics NOCX3 monoculars that is about 5+ years. It is cost prohibitive to have it fix. Aution it on eBay.
You can try to fix it, just remember to draw diagrams of the printed circuit board, show were the wire are attached. Used wire markers to mark the wires because they are all the same color.

when you said it turns completely off? i have a simular device and it only illuminates faintly, but i have a IR button that lites it up. otherwise unit is in a stand by, IR does the illuminateing of view. its like compareing a quartar-moon to a full-moon. but you could have a switch that is broke. the switch is on a timer to shut off to save battery
Dysfunctional Night Vision
dont power this up in full day light or you will burn out the ccd pick up if you cant see anything through it i gess the tude has burnt out
its common for this to happen there life span is only about 1000 hours and much less if exposed to bright light, ie minuets!
