Hi! Best option is to rip all the electronics off and built it up yourself - no replacementparts for those toys. The other option is to sell the boat to me - I would do option 1 with it, because in Switzerland, it seems to be impossible to get such a boat...!
I bought both of my
You can change the crystals over in the car & transformer, problem is that they may be soldered into position & would need to be unoldered & new ones soldered in. Can get them of of ebay pretty cheap. Should say what frequancy car is on underneath & on box. Some controllers have a switch & can choose out of 3 frequncies.Hope this helps on deciding to go further.
Cuts out
15 minutes is a reasonable time for a low cost RC boat. Is it cutting out because of low battery voltage?
My Holiday Express Train By New Bright No Longer plays any Sound.
there is a HD sound box speaker fixed in the unit.if there is no sound coming that means either the speaker which is emitting the sound out is got faulty or the speaker wires have got loose or got cut in between.the unit needs to be opened and checked.its not very hard but bit checking with meter or continuity tester is required to check the speaker and its wires.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.
please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
I have 2 radio control
Can you be more specific the rest of your question was cut off. But if you asking if you can switch the freequency's its a yes/no question. The (production) toys come with a complete board and you would have to buy another toy with a different frequency and switch it as there are no aftermarket parts/crystals for sale on Department store toys. You could fine a broken one and switch the remote/electronic in the car. The 2 frequencies are 27mhz/49mxz so if you have one its the other you need. If you purchase a hobby car from a hobby store you can buy a set of different frequency cristals for about $20-$40 And switch them and even for replacement as they go bad from time to time..
Music will play but train will not move or do any other function
I'm not spending money for asking if there is a button to push to make the train go around the track! That is a simple "yes" or "no" answer! I can promise you that I will not buy another product from your company and will tell all my friends about my experience with your product!

An electricalroblem with Holiday Express train
This train set is very particular and getting it to work each Christmas is a family tradition in frustration. First you must make sure that all the pieces of track are connected properly and that the track is perfectly symmetrical and flat. We double-check the battery positions every year and find one in wrong. There are + and - signs, but they're hard to see; use a flashlight. There is a black toggle switch below and behind the red stack that toggles forward (to make the train go forward) and backwards (reverse); straight out perpendicular to the train is the "stop" position. Also, you have to start at a stop/switch station. One other note: behind the red stack, there is a smaller black stack. If you turn this, you can make smoke come out of the stack. I think I remember someone suggesting a drop of cooking oil. Hope this helps!!! Hope you get it set up for Christmas!!!

I have a Newbright Musical Holiday Station
Check to make sure you have the large plug from the tender car to the loco plugged in correctly and secure. The tender car supplies power to the loco and if that cable is not connected the train will not run.
Holiday Express Train Set
We struggled with this just today...finally figured out that you have to twist the small piece right behind the bell on the top of the locomotive.
