Check with your router manufacture on how to log in to the router.

Once you have logged in,check that upnp or universal plug and play is checked to on.
This should allow x box to work through the router.

First make sure the dialling is done to the correct number - it will be listed in the contract papers.
Phone your ISP and request them to confirm you that those are indeed the correct username and password.

If you mean the reset button has been pushed and now the modem needs re-programing, then the modem has defaulted to its factory setting. Its IP address is now 192.168.1.254, its user name is Admin, and its password is the same as the serial number of the modem, usually found on the label on the bottom of the unit.

well, if you have been blocked by the admins of the website , u can still get an access to the website, as what the admins do is , they block ur IP, and hence u cant access it, if you want to get the access, then, change your IP address. to know How to change, it , u can mail me @ [email protected] i can't publish it online. good luck

Welcome to Fixya. The security can be access on the router settings page. To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access the router page just open a browser then type 192.168.1.254, the Default username is admin and the password is set by the user. You can press the reset button at the back of the router using a pen or paper clip. Just make sure that the router is on so that you can reset it to factory state. You can also refer to the manual below for more information about the network key. Please refer on page 52 of the manual. The preshared key or passphrase is the network key.

You need to set up port forwarding for the ports you're planing on using.

if you have the manual with the unit locate where is the reset button then push it for 10 sec.

Base from the description of your problem it seems that the issue here is not with your Netopia wireless adapter but with your 2wire wireless router, because the 2wire is the one responsible to broadcast the wireless signal so your Netopia can pick it up.

So what you can do here is to reset the 2wire router by pressing the reset button of it its a small hole there , then you will need to reconfigure that and it will be better if you do that with the ATT people so they can tell you how to reconfigure the router.

They have drivers for Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, and 7.

Try to access your router's gui. To do this, you have to use your internet explorer.
1. Get your default gateway address first. a. press the windows key + R b. type cmd then press ok c. on the black screen type ipconfig then press enter d. look for the default gateway address 2. Type the default gateway address on the internet explorer address bar and you will be able to see your router's gui
3. Refer to the manual posted on the link below. Refer to Chapter 7 to get the WEP key of your router.
note: you need to connect wired to your router before anything else.

You can put it onto tiles, so it will get at least a bit colder, but this is general problem of this routers, so I am affraid I am not going to help you.

Anyway, try those tiles, or some cooler enviroment

Make sure all cables are connected properly.

You can also configure it with below method.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. Then click on WAN settings set it as your internet service provider settings enable DHCP Then click on wireless and enable it. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. this device may not work in the 64 bit mode because it is a 32 bit device and the driver may not be available for it in the 64 bit mode. The manufacturer is the place to get the up dated drivers.
I suggest using the device in the Windows Vista or XP mode and the drivers should work for this device.

The password for your wireless network are not located inside the wireless adapter, so you need to enter your wireless router to reset the password.
