Nespresso too much water sometimes

It's normal that some of the water or and coffee flows drops into the capsule container. Mostly it will occur when you do not insert a capsule into the machine, and the rewing unit is not sealed with the capsule. The capsule container can hold up to 5 or 6 used capsule.

Hi there Does anyone know why there is often more foam white than coffee black in espressos made by my Nespresso machine?

Similar to the crema on quality espresso, this "foam" is an indicator of the freshness of your coffee. If it's thick and creamy white, it's very fresh. If it's present but thin and watery, it's less fresh. https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-foam-on-coffee-made-of-that-appears-on-milk-based-and-even-black-coffees The foam found at the top of your cup is "crema" comes from the espresso making process. Espresso is prepared in a metal contraption, which you pound down and hot water is pumped through at great pressures. The pressure pushes out the little oils from the coffee beans into the liquid. https://www.joyridecoffeedistributors.com/blog/coffee-news/where-does-the-foam-come-from

Nespresso machine does not punch hole on the capsules after close

This problem is most likely being caused by air being trapped in the system. To fix this, please follow the following steps: -

- Turn on the Machine, ensuring there is water in the tank
- Wait until the light stops flashing and the machine is ready for use
- Lift the silver lever on top of the machine into the upright position
- Press the coffee button on your machine
- Push the silver lever back, away from you, and hold it in this position for 3 seconds
- Press the coffee button again to stop the water flow

This procedure releases the air blockage in the system and your machine should function normally again.

Nespresso U coffee does not come through the spout

There are two nozzles in front of the machine attached together, the nose of the bigger one on the top slides into the smaller one on the bottom. When it makes coffee, the spout outside the machine becomes lower so coffee can come out. When it is done making coffee, the spout goes up so water/coffee drips in the drip tray. If one of the nozzles breaks, the spout on the smaller one will not go down and the inside end is lower and coffee goes inside the drip tray. It has nothing to do with cleaning.

What does a blue light

Means you are not heating your milk, the frothing milk will be cold (for iced drinks) because you have held the button down longer than normal. Usually it takes 5 Seconds for the blue light to go on. try turning it on or pushing the button faster, It should turn on red, for heated and frothed milk.
