Ah, the wonderful Nesco roaster oven...their guidelines are similar to what it would take if you put it in a conventional oven...To reheat probably 350 for 1/2 hour, but preheat the oven first, just like your home oven.

Go to the NESCO website...they sell the cookbooks.

Some owner's manuals have order forms so that replacement parts can be ordered. Spray it with some oven cleaner and let it sit for an hour or so...After a while, give it a wash with your typical dish soap. Should be good as new.

of course yes, the cord can be replaced.

Remove the overheated cord, take it to any electrical part stores in your area and have it replaced. This time make sure you buy a ticker wire with a 15amp socket/plug.

You can also order for it online from best-buy, Walmart, etc...
