Use a little penetrating oil under the cap. Pry left and right sides of cap. I nicked up my wheels a little and it took a while but they came off with a lot of pressure.Use two flat screwdrivers and get one under and then the other on the other side and tap at same time.Good luck
First thing to check is the power supply. Are the batteries fresh? Most likely you need to reprogram. There is likely a previous program that is causing the errant watering. Here is a good video on how to program.
If it's going backwards, and assuming you didn't take it apart and put it together wrong, then the arms aren't going in the right direction. Looking down from the top, my unit should be moving clockwise if it's set up correctly. In any case, switch it so the water pushes the arms in the other direction. the transmission is pretty straightforward - if it's going in the wrong direction then the arms are spinning in the wrong direction.
Hi, loosen the spray arms and rotate them opposite to the way they are laying now so when spinning the arms rotate clockwise. Hope this helps, regards Phil.
You need to aim the rotary arms in the opposite direction. If the spray pattern is spinning clockwise, then you need to make it spin counter-clockwise or vice-versa. You do this by adjusting each of the 2 arms 180 degrees so that the jet stream spurts right instead of left (or left instead of right). Remember, the spray arms are connected to a gear box, and the gear box turns the wheels. Your wheels are moving in the wrong direction because the gears are moving in the wrong direction because the spray arms are spinning in the wrong direction because they are aimed in the wrong direction.
