It sounds as if the micro switch is stuck....if you can take off a bottom panel at the back or front you should be able to see it on top of the reservoir but don't be too heavy handed as they're very delicate "MAKE SURE THAT IT IS UNPLUGGED ".

By chance are you getting error E04 ? If so that means (temperature sensor) shorted or open circuit

Most online appliance stores will have replacement part, and usually helpful for how to replace. If in warranty go that route because your DYI will invalidate warranty!

Check Fuses and Circuits. The Heating Coil may be shorted and fails. Needs a replacement.
