Firstly, check for reset button on your WiFi extender, press and hold for few seconds till all lights off.
Search for WiFi SSID and connect your laptop or mobile, browse for given ip on extender in browser, give it's password and follow the wizard to complete setup.

Dear Chinthaka, In the case of nec versapro vz-e tablet pc, I cound't find any button for wifi. Only option to enable or disable wifi is using cmos setup at pc boot up time. Please find in cmos setup at pc boot up time. Good Luck.

Yes. You need to install the RDP client software which can be downloaded from Microsoft. Procedure to install the RDP client on a MobilePro 880: Note: Steps 1 and 2 need to completed if you have not installed the Service Pack One for MobilePro 780 and 880. 1. Maybe a space between the name is not allowed. If you press the space bar then it's not allowed if nothing happens. Try using an underscore then the name would look like this: FirstName_LastName

sounds like power board failure. You can disconect power lead for 30 minutes and try again but it does sound like end of life

Hi Rshevlin, There could be a lot of random parts that could have been jarred or damaged internally with your CRT monitor. It was already fortunate that you didn't break the glass screen, but as you said already with your post it didn't come out unscathed (green and red area on the screen). I strongly suggest that you have a technician check out the monitor and see which part if any got damage or jarred inside your monitor. I also won't recommend opening your CRT monitor with the high voltage inside it. You may run the risk of getting electrocuted. Hope this helps you.

This usually happens when the resolution is set incorrectly for the monitor. If you have been using the same setup, probably an update changed the driver or setting for the video card. Sometimes this kind of problem dissappears after you update the firmware of the drive. Goto NEC support page online and search for firmware update for your make and model. There will be a little program to flash yhe firmware from your computer.

If you KNOW it is 5 volts then you only need to make sure that the amp is higher and never lower. Higher amp only means it can work without getting too hot. But the VOLTS MUST BE precise. For polarity it is MOST common to have the center pin PLUS and outer NEG/GND. When I fix laptops and put the powercord wrong nothing happens. When I get it right then lights go on on PC.
