NEC Xp Home premium reformat and change the system to english from japanese
Possibly the drive is dead or the screen is no good any more.Try going back in Bios and change language. If it doesn't boot up possibly the drive or monitor is no good.If the laptop has a vga or hdmi connection you could try hooking it up to a TV or another monitor to see if it will boot up past the xp logo to test if the monitor is really broken or no good.
It does all the time
I found a little trick about this problem...i had the same issue and the only thing that really helped me was..
•Go to "Control Panel"
•Select the "Adjust screen resolution"
•Now you have just to drop your Resolution BUT you have to do the trick here...
When you will press the Apply for the low Resolution in the same time while pressing the OK/Apply you have to push the button "SELECT" in your screen
Notice: Rember you have to do it in same time!
Greetings Bill!
What are front panel connections on motherboard?
Font panel connections are the power and reset buttons and status led's.
Ignore pin 9
The color order on the reset and power switch are not important but see that you insert the colored cable to the power led to pin 2 and the colored cable for the hdd led on pin 1
I need WLAN, PCI ETHERNET,
Your best bet is to check on NEC's website for support and download the drivers. If you post the exact model and serial number, I will research and send links to the above. Most likely it is a single Chip Set driver that is needed but could be multiple drivers.
Best of luck, Jim
Ultra 40" LCD40-500--- Need power supply for this LCD TV--- see below for spec's
Hi!
If anyone would like a Power adapter for their Ultra LCD30-500 and LCD40-500 - please email me [email protected]... And I’ll be able to order one…
I too own a Ultra Lcd40-500 HDTV. Bought it from HSN.com back in 2006.
My power adapter burned out 2 weeks ago, and to my dismay PWW, or should I say POS has gone bankrupt.
I looked everywhere online and here in San Jose,CA thinking I would find a replacement or at least someone that could repair the blown capacitor( 630v vpmm), thermitors(IRFD460A) and varistor( SCK206).
After calling every power supply company, distributor, and retailer, had no luck finding a match to this crazy looking 9din pin adapter. Disappointed I gave up on a replacement and took it to various repair shops for repair and was told without schematic would be nearly impossible to replicate the power Output. Finally this one shop was able to replace the burned out components and it seem to work at the store. When I got home with it..no luck..red light would come on…but no light on screen. L
Not wanting to give up or trash my LCD. It was time to dig further…I did some research through my employer; a SemiConductor company here in Santa Clara, CA.
Needless to say this power adapter has driven me crazy….It has been exhausting... But finally just yesterday I got the break needed…I found a manufacturer in Taiwan that has these power supplies for both the Ultra lcd 30" and 40". I was told they only sell to Component or Electronic Suppliers. I’ve asked my employer to see if I would be able to order one on their behalf using their account.
Happy ending! My power supply is on it’s way. I was told it could take up to 4weeks for delivery. But I’m just glad to have a replacement.
What is nec error code 0x0242
If I was thinking in terms of Cisco... That almost looks like a configuration register.
Is this happening while you're rebooting the machine? You need to provide more information.
