Well first of all this means that when it was saving (automatically i assume) you either turned off the console or went to dashboard. there is nothing you can do past this point... you have damaged the file. sorry.. but you have to wait for it to finish saving

Download NO CDVD EXE from here
Then extract
and replace the exe fiel with the game exe file which is located in C:/program files/Ea sports/ Nba 2k11
Replace it and Play the Game..

Give it some time to read the disk. The X-box just needs time to realize it is a new disk.

You may need a new copy of the game, or get your wii checked, call Nintendo about it, or e-mail them, the disk may also be scratched up. This used to happen to me a few months ago, the disk drive got overheated, maybe that's your problem, but if it doesn't happen to other games, than it's that one copy, or the game (including other copies) might not work. tried to get it repaired.

Could be both. If that only happens while playing NBA then it's a bad disc, check it for any scratches. If disc is fine you should go and replace it.

This error that you're encountering right now is a known issue and needs to be patched. However, the latest patch that was released as of the moment is only for game feature, game play, presentation and association. There are reports that this particular game has bug that does not allow you to have one profile at a time and can't save multiple game modes. What I suggest is to wait for the patch to be released from 2ksport. You may also try to update the game online. You need to connect the Nintendo Wii to the internet to find the latest update.

• if you downloaded it from a website then just extract it to a folder and then scan for virus
• after wards download avast 6.0 which features a sandboxing feature
• try to first install it through sandbox
• if it is succesful then install it normally

It means your xbox is overheated. Try getting more ventilation to the unit.

I have the same problem when I am playing in the My Player section. I also tried to reset and even turned the power totally off by unplugging it for nearly 30 minutes and that didn't work either. I hope that there is a solution because I do like playing the game.

Unfortunately. this is actually not something you can fix. There are reports with this game that there is an bug that does not allow you to have more than one "profile' at a time.

some people have over a 1000 blocks and will not be able to save more than one player progress. What you will have to do is wait for a patch from 2ksports to be released or connect the wii to the internet and check to see if there is an available update. These reports go back as far as October of last year.
