My navman 7100 vhf radio
Too late to help op, but trying to fix one with same symptoms, found a broken wire in the microphone cable near the handset, as I'd suspected. The cable appears to be a curly shielded 8 conductor, one of which (presumably the mike) appears to also have a shield - found a seller on ebay US that appears a suitable cable for about £16

It seem that there is a problem with the power supply board of your device. Try opening the unit up and check if you can replace the fuse and using a power tester check the wires for continuity.
You can also look for swelled capacitors and solder new ones to replace them.
You may want to consider how much the repair would cost and how much a new one is as most of the time adding a few dollars to the cost of the repair would have you a new GPS device.

I own a Navman MY55T and I honestly don't think you have to reset date and time. I never have for mine.
I have had a look online for you for your model of Navman and could not find anything within the user manual except how to change the format display for day/month/yer or month/day/year.
My only thoughts Sync it with your computer and it may pick up your computers time and date like many other peripherals do when they sync to your computer. Or it may well automatically change when it picks up GPS info as you use it in your car.

My navman 5505i screen goes
Hello
The display driver IC inside the unit is faulty. The fault is internal to IC so cannot be rectified. It should be replaced along with the display as both are one integrated unit. When heats up, the problem arises and it will not be predictabe when it will arise. The company detected the fault, that is why they asked to buy a new one. The repair charge along with the component price will come around the price of a new one ofcourse. OK.
