Yeah, I have a country flame stove and I have had loads of issues. Country Flame stoves are junk, I am working on a class action lawsuit with some other country flame owners as of 2.2.2011

Some people plump in fresh air but you can also punch out the fresh air in take out on the back of the stove and recirculate the air within your home.I would think twice about installing it in your basement . Basements have a tenancy to create a negative pressure, which means that it can become very difficult to create and up draft through the chimney , which causes the smoke to seep out of the stove into your home. The only way I have found to over come this is to run a torch in the stove for 5 mins before starting a fire, this creates an up draft which eliminates the problem.

Yes and no...... If the fireplace wont turn on from that switch, Most likley a diffrent switch

sounds like bad flame sensor this is a safety if it doesnt sense flame it will shut the gas valve off

turn everything off then turn back on some of these are like a computer reboot while system
