Don't confuse tabs and margins, after a return it always goes to left margin. Use the tab key to go from the left to the next place where you set a tab

If it sounds like it is hitting the paper puy in a multi part form if the copy is OK then you have a ribbon problem, put in a new ribbon. If there is no print on copy be sure the print wheel is properly latched in place. DickyO

It sounds as if the print wheel may be jammed usually caused by a bent letter spoke. Remove the print wheel and check that it can turn also look inside the area that it sits in to see is there is something that is interfering with the wheel.

Slide the selector switch up & down a few times they do get dirty. DickyO
