How to get sound from a nady audio 4130 mpm 4 channel power mixer

First, plug it in. Next connect the speakers. Center all eq controls both master and channel. Turn off any reverb or effects. Turn the master volume 1/2 way up. Plug a sound source into channel 1 wiyj the channel volume all the way off. Turn on the amp. Slowly raise the channel volume until you heat output. If you get nothing, it's broken.

No sound from my 2 year old Nady MPM 4130 pa system

Very likely source of this problem is the "mixer out/amp in" jack on the back. Anything plugged in there breaks the signal path so, obviously any off board equipment plugged in there needs to be checked...but that jack itself could be faulty or even just dirty. If there is nothing plugged into it....you can get a phone plug (power off) and plug in and remove it a few times. This is a switching type jack so if the "switch" part of it isn't connecting with nothing plugged into it, the signal path would be broken and give you the results you've been having.

The MPM4130X works for several

If ONLY the fuse blows and replacing it restores operation I would suspect an operational problem. Possibilities... does a speaker lead get grounded? Can the microphones hear the speakers? This latter is important because a supersonic feedback could occur that you can't hear but overheats the amplifiers. DO NOT boost the highs with EQ to avoid this possibility. Always check that the speaker leads are secure before power the unit up. 1/4 inch plugs/jacks are notorious as speaker connections due to the shorting possibility. You MAY have to go through the manufacturer to get schematic.

WA120 REC OUT (9) can

It is unclear how you are connecting the "monitor device" and what it is. The ONLY output is the REC output. Depending on what you are using for cables and devices there can be any of several problems.
REMEMBER:
1. The REC output is MONAURAL and if you are recording on a stereo recorder you MUST use a special cable as shown in your user's manual. This has a MONO plug for the NADY at one end and a STEREO or "TRS" plug at the other for the recorder.

2. A "monitor" whatever typpe it might be cannot interfere with the signal going to the recorder.

3. The AUX jack on the NADY is NOT an output, but is an auxilary input and CANNOT be used as a place to connect a monitor... If you need to drive a monitor it will have to be using a WYE from the recorder output.

Peavey cs1000 x

The most likely case is that one of the main output transistors (if which there are many) is shorted. When the protect circuit senses DC on the final output, it will not allow the output relay to come on to protect the speakers from raw DC. With the power removed, you can check between each outputs Emitter and Collector and you will probably find close to zero ohms. From that point you need to unsolder each of the pins of the bad channel until you find the shorted device(s) and replace them.

No or very little sound from Fender passport

Depending on the model, there are four around that date, it could be the insert jacks are tarnished reducing the signal flow between the pre amp stage and digital power amplifier. It could be the power amplifier has failed. It could even be customer error in wiring. This assumes there is the correct level of signal entering the input sockets of course.

Breaking Roland RD 600 hammers

The Roland RD-600 is a digital piano, and its hammer action mechanism is designed to simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. The hammers in digital pianos like the RD-600 are typically made of materials like plastic or a combination of materials to replicate the weighted feel of acoustic piano keys. The breaking of hammers in a digital piano is not a common issue, and it's not typically related to the age of the instrument alone. Several factors could contribute to the breakage of hammers, and it's essential to consider the following possibilities:
  1. Excessive Force: If the keys are played with excessive force or if there's any physical damage to the instrument, it could lead to the breakage of hammers.
  2. Material Quality: The quality of materials used in the construction of the hammers can impact their durability. If the hammers are made from subpar materials, they may be more prone to breaking.
  3. Manufacturing Defects: In some cases, there could be manufacturing defects that make the hammers more susceptible to breakage.
  4. Maintenance: Lack of proper maintenance, such as cleaning and regular inspection, may contribute to the wear and tear of components, including hammers.
If you've observed a pattern of hammers breaking with regularity, it might be worth investigating the specific cause. If it's due to excessive force or physical damage, adjusting playing habits and taking care during transport can help mitigate the issue. As for whether it's worth purchasing new hammers from Roland, it depends on the extent of the damage and the overall condition of the instrument. If the RD-600 is in good condition otherwise and you enjoy playing it, replacing the hammers could be a reasonable option. However, you may want to assess the cost of replacement hammers compared to the overall value of the instrument, factoring in the cost of a used RD-600 and any potential future maintenance needs.
