Whenever you plug in your Nabi 2 tablet to charge, The tablet will boot up. Whenever tablet boots up, turn it off and leave it charging for a good 4 to 6 hours. That should charge it.

How can i reset my mommy mode password
Nabi website has directions:
https://www.nabitablet.com/
Basically:
1) tap on mommy/daddy mode
2) click "Forgot Password" link
Nabi will send you instructions to the mommy account email.
If that fails, you can go to settings and do a factory reset to start all over.

How do I reset my Mommy password
The easiest way to work around a lost password is to do a factory reset. Some tablets will let you change a forgotten password with an email link, but it doesn't always work. Just remember when you reset your tablet to factory, you will have to redownload any apps you installed yourself. It's just like out of the box again. Set up your new password and accounts after you reset.

I have a Nabi that all of the sudden even if the green light is on saying its charged the screen stays black
Sounds like you have a good charger/cable, so try resetting the Nabi that's giving you trouble. Hold the power switch down for 10-20 seconds to reset the unit.
I have a couple of NABI-2 tablets and they both react differently to the charging cables; I often have to shut the NABI off completely to charge them. Also, getting the charging cable to connect can be challenging - I will plug the cable in and out several times waiting 10 seconds or so to see if the green LED will go red.
