No base is coming from
You need to make sure everything is wired properly, make sure the device your playing the music off of has the capacity of 130 watts of sound, and check to make sure your system is set to play that woofer.
My powered sub keeps blowing
check out that the output is not shorted on the terminal strip or near the connectioon to the sub woofer speaker driver.......if not then there is some other problem and you need to take it to a trained technician .......as you yourself can't rectify the problem.....
MTX Lolita Sub amp defective power transformer
Without Knowing the Output Chip or transistor Numbers, I don't know but Most 100 Watt anps use 60 to 70 Volt Centertap Sacondarys. Also if You Take the Cover off The Transformer you will find a Thermal Fuse in the Primary. I have bypassed the Thermal Fuse and went with a external fuse, Go for it.
I have the MTX SW2 floor sub and it just keeps
There's an overload caused by a semi-conductor that is acting as if was a piece of wire. If you have an Ohm Meter and there are transistors or diodes present you can check them. They will show up on the meter as if you had touched the test probes together. If it's an IC that's gone they often have cracks or damage or even have burnt. It's harder to test IC's, but the bigger the device and any on heatsinks should be top of your suspect list. If in doubt replace it!

Can't get face plate off of MTX 610CM ceiling speakers
Its a pain, espicially if the grills were painted before installation.
In the industry we use a "grill puller" which is nothing more then a wire hook with a loop for your finger.
If the holes are big enough bend a paperclip into a hook, grab it with needle nose pliars and pull the grill through the hole near the edge.
If it doesn't fit then use a small pointed knife or awl, stick the point in a grill hole around the egde and pull it down a bit, work your way around until you can grab the grill with your fingers.
Let me know if you need anymore guidance......be careful I've replaced alot of destroyed speakers!
Cheers,
Kevin

Subwoofer hum -MTX12
I assume this is an active sub. The amplifier has most likely failed. You have proved the signal source is not the problem, well almost if you can sucessfully connect the aiwa sub to another amp then we will know for sure. Usually amplifiers fail with an output device short circuit. The hum you here is the power supply direct on the speaker, I would not leave it on for long or speaker damage may ensue.
