Gauge wire ohm speaker
if the subs are different models or sizes don't install anything.use the best subwoofer you have, if you use both you can have cancellation with uneven woofers or damage them. use a large ported box and tune it close to the music you listen to.use a minimum of 4 gauge copper or cca wire. anything smaller and you risk burning the wire, the brand doesn't matter. use 14 gauge or larger for speaker wire and setup your impedance of your subwoofers in the pattern that will give you more power.see here.http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp
My amp doesn't want to turn on, it's doesn't smell
It's the remote wire it is what activates the on off feature ..... You can test this option by running a small wire from your power on the amp ( the red wire) to the remote wire on the amp if it comes on then that wire needs ran or replaced .

Fuse blown where I plug my cellphone to charge,
Probably and inline fuse if the phone holder was fitted after sales. If the car already had a holder (Factory fitted) the fuse will be in the fuse box. Normally in front of the Drivers position under the dash or under the bonnet. If its an inline fuse, you may have to remove any under dash covers and trace the "live" wire from the phone cradle back to its power supply. The fuse is usually in a cylindrical type holder that clips apart or 1 end unscrews.
I have 2 different subs in one box, a 12" MTX
im guessing both speakers are 4 ohms ..mtx 4ohms and kicker dual 4ohms..now if your amp can go down to 1 ohm wiring the kicker dual coils in parallel (2ohms) and the mtx connected together (4ohms) should leave you with a final impedance between 1 and 2 ohms ...i suggest you use one or get another
