Buy a chiltons complete teardown and rebuild book from your nearest Auto parts store for the year and make of your vehicle the schematic will be in the book

You have a short somewhere in the speaker wires.

250wrms is the highest they can take each. So look for an amp that does 500 wrms x1@ 2 ohms or one that does 250wrms X2 @ 4ohms.

Take both positive leads to the positive of the amp. Both negatives from the sub to the negative of the amp. Utilize the bridged output connections. This would present a 3 ohm load which would be around 100 watts rms (rough estimate)

It is actually in the controller, if you turn the remote all the way down and press on the controller until the bass goes off, you will be able to turn the bass up and down with the remote, mine worked but stopped after a month, I tried adjusting the amp but then I noticed that if I wiggled the knob on the remote that it would work, I mashed mine until it worked again and velcroed it to my console sonibcan get it on and off easily.

I have a Rockford fosgate punch 1000.1bd in a sealed enclosure about 1.5 cubic feet each. I have 0 gauge wire for the amp and running it at 1 ohms. My surroundings are dry rotten on both subs. Need new surrounds
