How to make ice tea
Iced tea is made using citrus fruits such as citrus fruits, limes, lemons and even the berries. This recipe I've made use of charcoal powder. You can also make use of tea leaves. Green tea is also a good option to make the ice tea. Because tea is rich in antioxidants, it's a good idea to incorporate tea into your diet.I've made use of organic, unrefined cane sugar to sweeten the tea. You can also add jaggery (though the flavor will differ) and any other sugar of your preference. How to make iced Tea recipeSteeping tea1. In a pan pour 1.25 litres water.2. Place the pan over an open flame. Let the water get to a boiling point.3. After the water has come to an end of boiling, turn off the burner and pour in 2 cups of black tea powder. To give a subtle tea taste one can add 1 tablespoon of tea powder. In lieu of powdered tea, you could make use of green or black tea leaves.4. You can add 1/3-1/2 cup of sugar. For a taste that is less sweet you can add 1/4 cup of sugar.5. Mix well, and let the tea leaves infuse within the water for 4 five minutes. If you want a milder tea flavor, steep for between 2 and 3 minutes.6. After the tea has been steeped in the hot water add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. To give it a more lemony flavor it is possible to include 4 tablespoons lemon juice as well. It is also possible to skip the lemon juice completely and just make simple cold tea.7. Stir using the spoon8. Then strain the tea into the glass or stainless steel jar. The glass jar must be able to withstand the temperature.9. Allow the tea to cool to the room temperature. You can then chill it in the refrigerator.10. As you serve Add four to five glasses of ice cubes. You can add more or less according to your taste. Additionally, you can add between 1 and 2 slices of lemon. The addition of lemon slices is not required.11. Pour the tea into the glass.12. Garnish with slices of lemon or a small sprig of mint leaves.Serve tea with ice immediately. While drinking , stir the tea with an ice cube or stirrer.https://www.kesargrocery.com/tea-and-coffee/
Coffee leaks from the bottom of the coffee maker
I just fixed my Mr. Coffee machine by removing the the 4 phillips screws in the bottom and re-attaching the red rubber hose to port it came off of. This is upsetting because if I knew this 2 months earlier - I would not replaced my old one with this one. These machines need a hose clamp to prevent this frequent failure. I will have some coffee now.
Mr coffee beeps 3 times and thats all, no brew
3 beeps means plugged water line. Take off the bottom of the coffee maker with a small phillips head screwdriver. Use pliers (I used needle nose type) to remove the wire clamps holding on the silicone water tubes to the hot plate. In my case, the water line from the reservoir to the plate was clogged with something I couldn't see until I blew on the hose and it popped out, could have been scale, grounds etc Clean with vinegar. Back in service!
Shuts off before done
Is the second one I bought they both do the same .... thing I stand there and hold the button in to get my ice tea made are they going to recall this or what's the problem
Delay brew will not come on in my Mr. coffee
I tried everything (cleaned multiple times, unplugged for 10 minutes) and then my husband asked.... is the time set for the delay brew? The answer....no! The power went out recently and we reset the clock but not the delay brew time (we don't use it much lately). Once I set the delay time the unit now works for delay brew!
My mr. coffeemaker beeps 5 times and doesn't brew the coffee I just purchased this coffee pot last month aug 2014. what could be the problem
I see two problems that you've described.
First, you have a bad empty-reservoir sensor. Mine went out on my first Mr. Coffee within the first month also. The purpose of the sensor is to trigger the beeping to simply let you know when the coffee is done. The coffeemaker would normally work fine otherwise.
Second, you have a bad heating element. This is the core function of your coffeemaker and renders it useless for anything but a nice warming plate.
I recommend replacing the coffeemaker.
In the future, make sure you do not add water to the reservoir unless the coffeemaker has been turned of for at least five minutes. This will help prolong the life of the heating element.
The heating element will naturally degrade over time. But, it can incur sudden damage when the reservoir is refilled with water too soon - while the element is still hot. Because of the simple design, if the coffeemaker is on, then both the warming plate's heating element and the reservoir's heating element are on. So, after a brewing cycle is complete, the reservoir's heating element stays on. Without any in the reservoir to keep it cool, the heating element superheats. So, if water is put in the reservoir while the coffeemaker is on or before the element has adequately cooled, the sudden burst of steam from the water contacting the element can be quite violent.

Brews very slowly
If you ever had coffee ground spill over the top of the basket and into the water reservoir then you may have gotten grounds into the pump valve. That would cause it to pump water slowly or not at all. Before you take the machine apart to clean out the hose and pump try flushing it out. I used a turkey baster full of water and stuck the tip into the hole at the bottom of the reservoir that leads to the pump and heater. Forcefully squeeze the baster which will flush water and hopefully the coffee grounds through the pump and out into the pot.
