Guide only takes up 2/3 of bottom of screen.

Confused....you say, 2/3 of BOTTOM of screen? Are you pressing the "guide" button on the remote or the "ok" button? Pressing the "ok" button gives you a mini-guide, only taking up top or bottom of screen, depending on what you prefer. As for it not extending across the screen (sideways/left to right?), you probably have the output resolution set to HD (720p or 1080i). That will cause the fullscreen menus to preserve their 4:3 aspect. The menus were not designed for widescreen resolutions. If your box is set to SD (and 4:3 override to 'stretch'), it would stretch it across the entire screen (assuming you have 16:9 TV).

Unit is warm but nothing

This cable box has a long list of issues, most notorious is the HDCP compatibility via HDMI connection. Let's try to access the Setup menu first. With the TV on and set to the cable box input (I assume you are using HDMI): Turn the cable box off, press the "Menu" button on the front of the box. Does the box front display then read "16:9" or "4:3...". If it does and after a moment the TV does not display any video from the cable box: Use a single RCA cable and connect it to the green video jack on the back of the box, then connect the other end of the cable to a green component video jack on your TV. Switch the TV to input you just connected. If you do not have video, you need to replace the cable box. If you do have video, use the press the down arrow button until you are on the "HDMI advanced" menu. Press the "Select" button to enter this menu. Change the video output type to "RGB" and the Audio type to "L-PCM". Use the Right arrow button or the "Select" button to change the selected item. Once you have made these changes, press the power button again to exit the menu. Switch your TV back to the original cable box input. Press the power button on the cable box to turn it on. If you still do not have video, replace the cable box. These boxes are typically owned by your cable provider and are replaced at no charge. I hope this was helpful, best wishes,

Unfortunately, Insignia can't provide a code. We recommend that you use your universal remote control's scan/learning feature to find a compatible code.

PIP DOESN'T WORK ON MY REMOTE drc800

I just looked this up myself. It said you have to have two tuners to get PIP. You can have PIP with another source like vcr or DVd with the TV.
That is all the manufacturer said.

Find a tv code for my prive soyo.

You can find the remote control codes for difrent brands of devices from
http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-tv.shtml#tv

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.
  1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
  4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
  5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.
  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
  2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
  3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
  4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
  5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

More help for programming your remote can be found here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/manuals/ofa-l.shtml?URC-7800#device

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. - If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.
If it hasn’t, please do not assign a rating just yet. Please post back as to what steps you took, results, etc, and I will try to assist you further as best I can. I am here at your service.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

Cheers!

No code for Polaroid LCD TV

Code Polaroid 1250.

if it does not work try SEARCHING FOR CODES
If none of the codes listed under
“Device Codes”on the back of this
guide match your device, you can
search for a set of commands that will
work. Your remote will sample all the
codes in its system for that device
mode to find one that will allow you to
control your device. 1. Press and hold a device mode
key (AUDIO, DVD/VCR, or TV) for
at least six seconds. The LED for
each device key lights up, then
the key for the device you
selected remains on. 2. Press a function key (such as
Power or Mute). The following
function keys are valid for
Searching (Power is
recommended):
• Power
• Mute
• Play
• CH +
• Stop
The device key’s LED blinks
three times, then turns off. 3. Press (up) The remote will send
the IR command for the function
you pressed in Step 2. 4. If the device performed the
function you pressed, press OK.
The remote will now control the
device you selected in Step 1.
If the device did not perform the
function you pressed, repeat step
3. Press (down) to retry the previous
code. rmarti Colombia
