Communication status not responding on monarch 9403 printer
Hi,
Please make sure that printer has not over heated. You can check requirements in the first few pages of the manual. You can run a power cycle on the printer and then check for the response again. Otherwise, please see the troubleshooting section for any suggestions from the manufacturer to move forward.
Thank you.
Monarch 9826 error 616
The 616 is basically telling you that one of the dots that heat up to make the image on your paper isn't able to heat up correctly
Is there a schematic for this label maker?
A new unit is about 89 dollars, the repair kit for one is 85. The kit would have the diagram. I don't believe it is feasible to get the kit instead of buying a new label maker.

Error 025
025 means that you have a string length outside the range. It is somewhat of a generic error. Look inside your data stream and see if you are providing more data in a field than you should. Example would be in your Format you have designated 12 characters for a field, and you provided 13 or more in the Batch record.
Since this error is different from user to user, the generic answer works for all users with this issue, but the specific flag is different. I've seen it for description fields, barcode fields, and various other data fields where a quantity of characters is expected to be used, but a quantity + or - 1 or more of those characters sets off this error.
If you could post a copy of your datastream, I may even be able to diagnose it. The Format portion of the datastream starts with something like {F,1,A,R,E... and ends with a }. Then there is the batch record with starts with something like {B,1,.... and ends with a } I would like to see all data from the frist { to the last } to be more helpful if you're not able to find it from this.
Im trying to print barcode stickers for garments. Randomly all the datadoes not print on the sticker, not alwayssame data either. Also getting"bitmap errors, LINE 06 CODE 026, LINE72 CODE403. Using Ni
Error 403 is a field separator was not found. This is not a hardware error. It is a data error. This character is needed in order to determine when one line ends and the next begins. This may not be a Nicelabel issue if the character is being lost in transmission from the workstation to the printer. But it is definitely not a printer hardware issue.
Code 26 appears to be an undefined code. A little research may be needed to get to the bottom of that one. Are you sure that it isn't a 25? 25 would fit as a string length is outside the range.
When I read your comment about getting "bitmap errors", I am of the belief that you're downloading fonts or graphics to the printer, and because these datastreams can be long, if you don't have the correct settings for serial communications, specifically flow control, it is possible for buffers to overflow for a short enough period of time to lose just a couple of characters and then your data ends up broken and these errors can show up.
If there is a way to get the file that you're using for your printer, or the datastream that Nicelabel is sending to the printer, I may be able to provide further assistance, but again, this is showing as a data error and it is possible that because Nicelabel doesn't understand the codes that they believe it is a hardware fault. If it can process some of the labels produced by Nicelable, and not others, I see further confirmation of the data going to the printer as being broken.
Paxar pathfinder how to restart
The Pathfinder 6039 can be restarted in several ways. If you have the version that has a small access door below the keyboard with a small hole to the left of that access door, use the included stylus that came with the printer and insert it into that hole. That will perform a soft boot, also known as a warm boot. This type of boot or reset is a non destructive reset and will NOT delete any data.If you need a more destructive method of resetting the printer to delete all of the data on the printer (does not delete data from any installed memory card), you need to:Power off the printerPress and hold down the TAB and ON/OFF button when you press and release the switch behind that small hole described above. If done right, a dialog shows up on the display that tells you to press the LEFT arrow to delete the RAM, Registry and Drive. Any other key will abort the process. If this isn't working for you, call 1-800-543-6650 option 7, and ask for someone in technical support to walk you through the process. 614 invalid data
614 definition is Portion of the field is off the tag. A way to explain this is that you've created a field that supports up to 25 characters, and the width of that label is only 2 inches. If you typically print using 22 or less characters in that field, you never see the problem, but when you use 23 or more characters, you get a 614. Meaning that characters 23 and higher don't fit in the designated space.
You could move your field closer to the edge of the label to see if you can get additional room for the additional characters. You could choose to use a smaller font, or reduce the width of the current one being used so as to fit more in the same space, or you could consider using a feature in the printer to ignore imaging errors.
Note that using that feature can give you the net result of not all of the needed data fitting on the label that you designed. That could cause pricing errors, incorrect or unwanted descriptions, various other codes, etc.
Reply back if you think that you'd like to use the feature of ignoring the imaging errors and I can see if your printer supports the feature, as well as provide the step by step you need to enable and disable the feature for versions that support the function.
