Replaced Moen cartridge in tub faucet. Handle spins too freely. Too much grease in cartridge? Handle too heavy? D Ring is in place as well as the clip. Suggestions?

At first guess without the specifics I think it maybe a "knock-off" version. Moen usually is an easy fix, with the exception if it is 180 degrees out. If you feel it turns to easy wipe off some of the lubricant and try again. Usually pretty reliable.

Replaced delta valve with moem.

The pipe going from the main valve to the tub spout(not the sprayer above)needs to be a full 1/2" pipe if you used a pex 1/2" to the tub spout-the inside is usually smaller and causes it to back pressure and make water release thru the sprayer above-needs to be installed with a full 1/2" ID PIPE-AND DONT USE GALVANIZED

I would like to change out a Phisher Price shower to a Moen shower. What is involved and is this something that I can do? Or do I need to call in some help?

Hey, Are you wanting to swap shower heads or all the shower hardware?? ..PUT A WASH RAG/TOWEL OVER THE DRAIN BEFORE YOU START - PREVENT ANYTHING FROM GOING DOWN THE DRAIN YOU MIGHT NEED LATER!!.. If its just the shower head.. no problem.. The shower head just unscrews...(might need a small crescent wrench or pliers) .. and the new one should just screw on....a couple rounds of white thread tape will prevent leaks.. If you are wanting to change the other hardware... this will be hard to direct because we cannot see how they are installed... some have screws under the caps, some have set screws in the bottom of the handles...for the ones with screws under the caps.. the caps have a notch to facilitate popping of the caps.. the screw will be visible.. the set screw hole will be visible on the others.. Good luck.. http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-2-in-x-520-in-Thread-Seal-Tape-31273/202206819

Moen water flow restricted and only warm

Not sure about your particular valve, but most newer shower valves have an anti-scald limiter that stops the handle from turning too far to the hot water side. Check for a ring or a pin under the handle that can be set in different positions. It will need to be moved clockwise to allow the handle to rotate farther to hot. Hope that helps. If you have trouble finding it, try looking up a diagram for the valve model.

Moen shower control leak

Frankly that DOES NOT sound like a valve leak... ... but the alternative of taking the wall apart is pretty daunting. The cartridge seems futile to me... but I easily done done at small expense... While you are at the PLUMBERS SUPPLY... Pick up some of those SHARK-BITE couplers... Easy on... easy off SOLDERLESS CONNECTIONS (see video at bottom). They make a job like your INCREDIBLY painless... ALSO REMEMBER THERE are two sides to every wall... Do pay attention... these work on COPPER, PVC AND PEX...!! You don't always have to BREAK INTO the wall from the FROM THE MOST expensive side...
