The pump pressure switch is located on the transmission housing next to the pump. The switch lets the computer know what the pressure is coming from the pump when the engine is running. The servo pressure switch is located on the housing near a band or servo in the transmission.

More information please. Is this a manual or an automatic transmission? What EXACTLY does it do when you try to select a gear? Do you have any warning lights on the dashboard? Have you had the car plugged into an OBD scanner to check for Trouble Codes? These questions will help work out what the problem is.
I had the same problem and I found it was that another unit had the heat running while I was trying to run AC on another (they're both attached to the same condenser) so it could only run heat or AC not both. Turn off the heat!
