Midland two way radio 7Q-0351C What size fuse is require on the 12 VDC power lead?

I think you meant 70-0351c? I believe this is a 60 watt transceiver. So if you remember ohms law P=IxE or power equals amps times volts so 5 amps times 12 volts equals 60 watts. Use a 5 amp fuse.

How do I set the time on my First Alert AM/FM Weather Band Radio. Model # FA1160

First make sure that the radio is off (in standby mode). Then press and hold Mode for 2 seconds. (That's the button on the right near the NOAA logo.) You should see the 12/24 Hr option flashing. Press Tune Up or Tune Down to switch this if needed. Then press and release the Mode button. Use the Tune Up/Down buttons to set the current hour; check the AM/PM if in the 12-hour mode. You can press and release the up/down arrows to slowly change the hour. If you hold the button, the hour will advance or reverse rapidly. Press and release Mode when the current hour is reached. Repeat the use the Tune Up/Down buttons to set the hour. Press Mode to exit the clock setting mode. This is shown in the manual which is available here: http://pdf.lowes.com/operatingguides/077283726002_oper.pdf . See pages 8-9 (9-10 of the PDF). I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Regarding the Midland 1050 Two-way FRS/GMRS radios, are the corresponding wattage outputs for the transmitting power levels of L, M, and H .5, 2, and 5 watts respectively?

Not on FRS. FRS has only one power level and it's set to low. GMRS ERP output on the 1050 is approximately 0.4w low; 1.5w mid; and 3.07w High according to operator blogs.

I have a Midland VHF Marine radio mod 78-100 and I have lost the three pin power cord. anyone know the +/- configuration within the existing pin setup so that I can make another?? The cord is NLA.

I quickly checked the net for available diagrams and didn't find one for your radio. If you feel comfortable simply remove housing from the radio and check color of the wires and markings where those wires are connected to circuit board.

Is the Midland micro mini mxt90 repeater capable.

I would say no, it's not repeater capable for widespread use. After taking a look at a photo of this radio, I don't see any buttons to program a specific frequency that would allow listening to a nearby repeater. The GMRS frequencies for this radio, probably in the 462.000 range, are preprogrammed and locked in. If you're lucky, you might discover a repeater in your area on the UHF band in this range - just for listening. It would require a FCC license under Part 97 of the FCC rules to transmit. The GMRS radios can be licensed under Part 95, mainly for family members to communicate with each other. Hope this helps.

If you follow some steps then your issue will be resolved. Carefully review the manual. Or, it is possible that the NWS did not issue a warning for the storm. Warnings are issued for thunderstorms. Radio will not stay charged

It sounds to me that you have a defective battery. This can happen if a radio is left on charge or left uncharged for an extended period of time. I could be wrong but this is the most likely cause, especially if the battery is not a lithium one. They have this problem as well from time to time.
