Check the fuses first. If that's ok, it can be the sensor built into the mirror on the windshield, or the headlight switch itself.

Mercedes is a great car- till you have a fuel problem, vacuum leak or electrical problems!!!!!! I'm guessing you may be ok this time though, by just checking all your fuses. Check your operators manual so you know the location of ALL fuses.

I just opened the hood on a 97 C280, I have no pics or video because it's done now really simple, follow closely, first pry one side of the up far enough to see 2 10mm bolts on the radiator upper support, loosing the back one first, then in the middle of the condenser fan there is a 10mm bolt facing downward, you'll need a 1/4 drive rachet and 10mm socket for this, loosing that bolt as far as you can, use a 10mm wrench to finish if need be (also use the same wrech for the part), pry up the other side taking the screws a loose you took from the previous side, the hood is now open, you'll have to pull the cable from the firewall to get the slack you need to raise it higher, this will work

If door is closing completely and locks -then you have a indicator switch that is more than likely broke or came loose from its position.

Likely inside door attached to door lock mechanism.

Turn off the mute feature when you are next in a call. A speaker with a line through it symbol.

It's normal for the alarm to go off if it was set with the key fob and then unlocked with the metal key. The manual should explain this.

If the battery is removed you have to re-align the windows to the fully up position. So, get the window to the top and keep your finger on the button for about 3 seconds you will hear a click. the next time you operate it will go all the way up in one go.
If this does not cure it the battery connection may the problem.

There is a good video on U-Tube to illustrate this process. It's difficult to explain unless you can see the job being done. You have to place the vent fully up to release the bottom clips and fully down to release the top clips.

I would say the best thing to do here is to contact a Mercedes Independent dealer, and show them your list of fault codes.
A wiring diagram with the electrical connector numbers is required, and there are not many of them around for Mr. DIY.
R12/6, R12/7, n2/7-15r/15 should be identified on the diagram as either wires or connectors. I had a similar readout on my 2001 C240, when oil from the rear crankshaft oil seal was seeping out of the gearbox bottom drain, and saturating the area where the main electrical connection entered the gearbox. something like that may be the problem.

Hi, this is a common symptom of a clogged fuel filter that is straining the fuel pump itself.

When you accelerate, this initiates a rapid fuel flow through the lines. if the filter cant pass the proper amount, its will stall or hesitate the engine and cause sputtering or loss of power. due to this clogged filter, the pump cant keep up with your acceleration demands at this time. the reason for the power pick up upon De acceleration, is because the lower amount of fuel is able to pass through quite easily but, as soon as you demand more power, the clog will obstruct the more intense flow of fuel to the injectors.

Simply replacing the fuel filter and pump will fix this issue.
