I have a 2001 C240 with the same issue. I removed the positive battery cable from the battery and kept it off for 30 seconds then replaced it. Everything was reset and the key worked.

There is a small black box in front of the alarm horn. Pull the cover off and remove the two red fuses.

Have you had the battery itself tested? Features like the lights and power windows do not use a lot of battery power. A starter motor will use at least 9 volts on a 12 volt battery. Batteries usually only last about 5 to 8 years before they start to fail, less if you have 'start-stop' fitted to your vehicle.

Maybe one of the key fob's has gone nuts.. remove the battery from them both and see if that stops it.

By having it scanned and cleared with an OBD tool. This light comes on when it detects a problem. Could be a bad gas cap, or it could be a misfiring engine. The code you get from having it scanned will pinpoint the trouble area

Mercedes -benz E320 w211 Oil level big red light will not go out.changed the sensor still on. Also had low fuel pressure I don't know why but when I Changed the fuel pressure sensor my oil level red light went out.

Top needs to be up when top is down the Pistons extend with fluid showing it is low and if you fill at that time when you close it the Pistons will go back in and fluid will run out and possible cause of a leak

Repeat steps 8 to 11 for a total of 4 remotes.13. Turn the ignition to the OFF position or wait 60 seconds to exit program mode.

Get this looked at as soon as you can, ignoring it will cause extra wear on other parts pushing the cost of repairs from 'Ouch' to 'Aaaarrrgh!'. The thump may not be the brakes. Does it thump as bad if you do it in reverse? Get all four corners of the suspension checked over as sounds can travel and appear to be coming from a different area of the car. As to the camber. It should have a tiny amount of negative camber as this helps prevent 'Wheel Tuck'. This is where the wheel and tyre tilts or folds under the vehicle during hard cornering. Tucking can 'pop' the tyre off the rim risking the vehicle tipping sideways and rolling over.

This model has its fuel tank in two compartment. one on the right, the other on the left. When you fill it full tank, both sides will be filled. When engine is running, the fuel pump sucks fuel from only (RIGHT SIDE) of the compartment. And the excess fuel is sent back to the LEFT SIDE of the compartment via the return pipes. When you reach half tank mark, the fuel in the RIGHT compartment dries out and the engine dies out but the fuel gage still show half tank. This setup depended on the siphoning effect by the pipes in the tank to suck fuel from the other tank and send it to the pump side tank. Can you please re-ask this questions? First, you said the button Unlocks the Car and then say it Won't?Second, The lock/unlock does not control the Courtesy lights, there is a Time delay but now here is the kicker....Does the Courtesy lights come on when you use the FOB ?If they do, they you have a problem with the Button or the Button Controller or a wire.Third, I am not sure what Button you are talking about on the REAR HEAD RESTRAINTS? Are you talking Head Rests? I have never heard of as HEAD RESTRAINT
