2004 Mazda 6. 2.3 litre, 4 cylinder. I restricted the air flow in the filter box and it's running great.

no sure all that. but evidence, SO FAR: backfires to TB (back fires to induction path) never good that. and serious. engine misfires badly. owner simulates air cleaner clogged and it runs better. the fist test, ouch. RPM MAX 2000<<< limp home mode or just gross misfire. 19 YEAR OLD CAR NO SERVICE HISTORY POSTED CAM CHAIN SCREAMING FOR HELP?????????<<NOISE MAX? 19 year parts that fail are
  • maf dirty needs cleaning, never brush any hot wire MAF ever.
  • spark parts bad plugs and the wire sets. if not replaced 1 by one on that huge coil pack it will back wire for sure. oops. wasted spark rules can not be ignored !
  • bad thermostat overheated engine and valves burned./
  • fan belt bad or slips and waterpump fails. and overheats again
some DTC can not set and be seen unless you drive the car say 2000 rpmmax(LOL) around the block fully hot engine 180f to 200F temp, hot engine means normal hot engine, is it does it? and 19year old thermostats are NO GOOD. stuck open oops or the silly fail safe STAT stuck open and 150f is max. and stuck on cold start mode for ever and fouls spark plugs and misfires endlessly. I'd do a full engine compression test any 19yo car. gee it's old, 150psi and more and near equal x4 no miles told on car 200k miles 250k? seems too that engine ran worse before and was ignored and the CAT is melted, and 80% melted and engine can not pump air, as it should. we see that effect easy with a vacuum tool; gauge if vacuum is wrong, 20"hG steady or as you gun the throttle. vacuum works backwards with cat clogged. means partially clogged. if fully clogged engine is DEAD fully. this is just some tests. not a full set of tests ever, do I post, I could but refuse. NOW IF YOU OR OTHER PLAYED WITH 4 WAY COIL PACK HERE IS THE CURE. MUST BE WIRED THIS WAY ONLY. firing order is , 1,2,4,2 wasted spark. tech. block F1,2,3,4R front is at engine belt end. if wired wrong it will backfire horrid. grossly. 1 and 4 fire same time 2 and 3 same. time. only 2 coils inside to run 4. magic. 23-undefined-undefined-0.jpg

Mazda B4000 high mount light fuse location

User
1998 mazda b4000 high mount light doesn't work. where is fuse located? not shown on manual.

ChatGPT
The high mount brake light fuse on a 1998 Mazda B4000 may not be shown in the owner's manual because it is often a shared circuit with other lights and accessories.

That being said, the fuse for the high mount brake light is typically located in the engine compartment fuse box or under the dashboard fuse box. Check your owner's manual for the exact location of the fuse box in your vehicle.

Once you locate the fuse box, look for a fuse labeled "STOP" or "CHMSL" (Center High Mount Stop Lamp) or "BRAKE" that is related to the high mount brake light. Use a fuse puller or needle-nose pliers to remove the fuse and check if it has blown.

If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage rating. If the new fuse also blows, there may be an underlying issue with the wiring or the high mount brakelight assembly itself that will require further investigation by a qualified mechanic.

What is the name of the belt that makes the CD to come out or in on Mazda 2

Just called a 'Drive Belt' or 'ejection drive belt'. however, they are normally motorized by a small synchronous motor gears and levers (no belt). Have you opened it up and seen the belt? You order them by diameter and width, toothed or plain, or by the model number of the unit. https://www.google.com/search?q=Mazda+2+cd+player+drive+belts ..

1999 Mazda Bounty. I have a leaky drivers door when it pours the carpet gets wet.

Doors don't normally leak as they have seals all around the edge, and the glass, unless yours are missing . Do you have a sunroof in it? Drains block or the pipes come unattached. https://www.mazda6club.com/threads/drivers-side-carpet-gets-wet-when-it-rains.189807/ Or you have a blocked drain in front of the windscreen. Or you have a hole in the floor. Or the AC Drain is blocked.

2004 mazda rx8 won't start crankshaft sensor

no engine told. 1.3L R2?,, ROTARY ENGINE "Wankel." twin rotor. 4 spark lugs. leading and following sure. post the DTC codes. only do not tell the techs what they mean sure p0302 sure. but what was the other code P0335???? ESS???? or 336? yes spark plugs are always replaced as a set , $2.50 plugs are cheap, learn that P0302 does not mean only spark it means weak combustion energy on #2 only bad/low compression. #2 rotor. bad spark#2 (oops no cure) new HV spark wires not routed wrong. 19 year old spark wires HV are no good now. bad injections #2 rotor. (as 2 injectors, #2 bad /weak or partially clogged or leaking. the CKP sensor on many car, can not just be thrown on. some call for shims, others spacer pads or must be put in to learn /calibrate mode. now I will read the SM to you, service manual RX8, r2 can't be thrown ON, the CKP
  1. Remove the right side driveshaft.
  2. Remove the cylinder block lower blind plug and install the special service tool or equivalent.
  3. Turn the crankshaft pulley to the clockwise until it stops.
  4. Using a straight edge, draw a straight line directly in the center of the ninth tooth of the crankshaft pulley pulse wheel (counting counterclockwise from the empty space).NOTE If the line is not accurately drawn, ignition timing, fuel injection and other engine control systems will be adversely affected. Drawn the straight line carefully using a straight edge.
  5. Align the centerline of the crankshaft position sensor and the line drawn, then install the sensor.
  6. Install the CKP sensor fitting bolts. Tightening torque 4.1-5.5 ft lbs
  7. Remove the special service tool or equivalent then install the cylinder block lower blind plug. Tightening torque 15 ft lbs
  8. Install the right side driveshaft.
  9. Install the splash shield.
  10. Install the right front wheel
amazing facts, . DOne wrong the Sensor is destroyed. (maybe) before guessing what DTC mean read the service manual on the R2 the internet will lie to you, looking up codes , using piston engines rules, dead wrong. it's a ROTARY fuel rail pressure is 58 PSI , par. compression 700kpa. or 101 PSI min, is 660 kPa or 96psi, done correctly good full charged battery and hold throttle open some 1/2way is ok. so it can pump air to get and test compression. or ask on real RX8 forum, not here. mostly no rotary here at all https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/compression-numbers-261567/ the ESS (CKP) looks like this on a scope and timed right ess-undefined-undefined-0.jpeg

03 3.0L Mazda 6 barometric pressure sensor location

Hi Anonymous, L3 engine 2.3L or (Mazdaspeed 6) 3.0 L Duratec 30 V6???????????? post the VIN and then we see what is there. got the TURBO with map sensor is covered i the service manual for sure and the simple test. the mostly never fail but vacuum to it can so we clean it. the engine parts locator for (Mazdaspeed 6)3.0 L Duratec 30 V6 engine shows no such MAP sensor. there is and egr boost baro sensor why not do your own hunts in the service manualthe 3.0 liter uses MAF sensor, mass air flow to calculate fuel rates. why not post a problem first. like engine power low, or what ever it is so the helper can be on the same page btw the 2.3L (L3 engine code) for sure has MAP sensor. just incase it is L3 engine and not larger V6 here is (id 10) the map 2.3L only 4 cyl. not V6 v6 has none. (egr yes) egr baro is for egr testing only OBD2 . 23l-undefined-undefined-0_0.jpg

2005 Mazda 3. I was driving it, and it died and won't start again. I replace crankshaft sensor worked 2 days, now it's back to not starting?

Question edited for clarity and fix typos. Question moved to model category. You are subscribing to the "let's try replacing this" method of car repair. It doesn't work and is expensive. Your vehicle has a sophisticated computer system, and you just connect a professional grade scan tool computer to it and it will give you a code. The code tells you what is wrong, and from there you can search the fix. There was nothing wrong with the starter motor, fuses and relays can be tested. If your Crankshaft Sensor was made in China or in Mexico, 2 weeks can be the average lifespan on a faulty one! Only buy OEM Sensors as they are the most important parts of making your vehicle run efficiently. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

How to replace heater core in the Mazda B2200

After you remove the hoses from the core, remove the nuts and bolts that secure the heater case to the firewall in the engine bay. Inside the cab you will have to remove the glove box assembly for clearance. then disconnect the blower fan wiring. there may be another bolt securing the heater case to the firewall on the inside of the cab. Then you should be able to remove the heater case. You'll have to split the heater case to get to the core.

How do I remove the door trim on rear door of Mazda BT50 Freestyle 2018?

Hello To remove the door trim on a 2018 Mazda BT50 Freestyle rear door, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Remove any screws or clips securing the armrest or door handle trim.
  2. Locate the screws or clips along the bottom and top of the door trim panel.
  3. Use a plastic pry tool or a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the trim panel away from the door. Be careful not to damage the panel or the door.
  4. Once you have separated the trim panel from the door, carefully lift it away from the door to access the wiring and clips that connect the panel to the door.
  5. Unplug any electrical connectors and remove any screws or clips securing the panel to the door.
  6. Remove the trim panel and set it aside.
Note: The exact procedure for removing the door trim on a 2018 Mazda BT50 Freestyle may vary depending on the trim level and model. If you are unsure about any step in the process, it may be best to consult a repair manual or a professional mechanic for assistance. Have a nice day.

1999 Mazda 626 2.0 5 speed. It stutters at idle when the a/c compressor kicks in while in defrost or a/c, smooths out when it isn't. Changed the a/c relay to no avail.

Question edited for clarity. Left your duplicate text to show difference. :>) Question moved to model category. Site scripts will drop you into the correct category if written my way. The AC takes a lot of power from the engine. Slip the belt off and see how freely the compressor turns. It should have some resistance, but not enough to slow the engine which also is trying to turn the alternator. There is also the possibility that your battery is failing, or the connections are not good starving the engine management of volts and amps.. Of course, it may also be electronic https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..
