These models actually don't have a filter so the best way to clean it would be by choosing a cycle which allows th most water to fill up the tub , hot water preferably and add some powdered diswasher detergent.To remove your agitator you will have to pull off the top portion and inside the agitator there is a hailf inch bolt to unscrew and the rest will come off.Hope this helps
