The car seat I have

Hi Maxi-Cosi do not produce the adapters for the carseat to be used with Mamas & Papas chassis. Adapters would be designed, tested, approved and sold from Mamas & Papas. If the adapters do not fit the carseat they need to investigate this for you. The CabrioFix carseat is only one model and regardless of date of manufacture all Maxi-Cosi adapters for CabrioFix are the same. (For using Maxi-Cosi carseat on Maxi-Cosi pushchair chassis)

The yellow clips are attached to hooks, it's in place and secure but first light not coming on at all (not even going red) I have changed the batteries so it's not that

Mine had this issue. Try attaching the seat. When I did, all lights lit up but the one to say the yellow legs were attached is red. I believe it may be a broken wire or similar, as it openly happens when the seat is attached, otherwise no lights whatsover and the seat is clipped in. I can hang offi it without it coming out. If anyone has any idea how these come apart I would be great. I have taken out the 6 obvious screws andRemoved the 2 that hold the top cover which allows me to prise open the frobut can not see how the rear of the unit comes apart.

Batteries went flat in between children... replaced them in the family fix and now wont light up

Hi Emma, To run the test mode you hold in the long thin black button just under the display. Once the sequence starts let go of the button and it will cycle through the different lights and then they will all go out. That's when the test mode has finished. Once this has been done, the base should then register correctly when being fitted into the car with the green / red light indication and noises. If it still does not function as it should, the base needs to come to our engineers for inspection. Contact the customer care team on 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 08:30-17:30 / Fri 08:30-16:30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) to book in.

How do you put on maxi cosi car seat cover

What model? Did you take it apart to clean it? If so, look towards the back of the owners' manual for instructions. Otherwise, call Dorel Juvenile Group (their phone number is on a label - usually on the side of the seat) for specific directions. It is critical the seat be assembled properly. Has my baby car seat expired

Hi On the carseat shell you'll find an orange and white sticker which shows manufacture date. It is recommended that carseats with integral harness are replaced once they reach 5-6 years old. a0cc719d-c829-4702-a4dc-60975f8d3c29.jpg Replacement Recommendation for Older Carseats Carseat Bases

How old or big a baby do you use the Maxi Dozi Insert for?

Hi, You can remove the lumbar support pillow when you feel baby needs more space - its needed for a newborn baby to keep them flatter, but once they need more room (normally around 4 months old) you can remove it. The headhugger should be left in place as long as possible for maximum protection in a side impact - the lumbar support cushion can be removed as demonstrated in the attached image. 63b213ad-9ec6-430e-b5b7-1f46713b6684.jpg

Release button is broken

Hi To release the carseat from the base you will need a pair of long nosed pliers. Under the grey button on the base you would normally use to release the carseat you will find a small hole. Put the pliers into this hole and pull the wire inside firmly toward you. Lift the carseat from the base. The base will now need to come into our engineers for inspection and repair. If you're in the UK and the product is under 2 years old, please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase and they can arrange for it to be sent to our engineers for inspection / repair work required under warranty.
