Marantz Receiver SR7300 display gone blank

I had the same fault (no front display but the amp worked) first check the +- 5 and 12 volts if they are low say 11.90v or 4.95v have a look at the main power circuit board for dry joints. On mine I found the main plug from the transformer had one on the end pin. But why you have it out solder all the other joints on the board. img_5098-3qyb5hfeigiqbrude0ab1jfx-d-0.jpeg img_5099-3qyb5hfeigiqbrude0ab1jfx-d-1.jpeg It took about 2hr from start to finish. Good luck RP.

Marantz CD5004 tray keeps opening problem

CD/DVD players use a protocol; Open tray. Insert disk. Tray switch tells mechacon that the tray is shut. Attempt to focus on disk. If focus is acheived, then it will spin up and try to read the disk otherwise it will ask for a readable disk. If the tray keeps opening, I would suspect the tray detect switch is malfunctioning, maybe the drive belt has stretched.

Marantz TT400 Turntable. Has just stopped revolving altogether. Is it likely to be a belt issue? Connection ok as stylus still makes a noise if touched.

Yes. Most probably belt is broken. Download the service manual from given link and replace the belt as per procedure given in the manual. Marantz TT-4000 Service Manual, Service Manual, Repair Schematics (electronica-pt.com)

Where can I locate a Marantz SR-66 User Manual? I can find the service manuals, but not the user manual.

This is very strange the Service Manual is free and everywhere, but on the Marantz website if you scroll down to the bottom there are dozens of SR- Models in the AV Receivers category but it completely overlooks the SR-66, but there is an SR-6006! https://www.marantz.com/en-us/support/product-archive%C2%A0 It exists though https://www.hifi-review.com/149388-marantz-sr-66.html I would contact Marantz Support. https://www.google.com/search?q=Marantz+SR-66+owner%27s+manual ..

I have a Marantz PMD510 dual cassette deck. Both

There are no fuses in this unit. The decks can't read or record because either the connection switches from the heads to the boards have failed or the power source is no longer active.
You will need to locate the switch by following the data cable coming from the heads and determine why it has failed and how it can be fixed. Then check the connections from the switch to the signal board. Finally check the power : the output of the transformer and the filtering and stabilization stages.

Marantz Cr401/N1S constantly clicks after power surge/outage.

This can depend on what the player is actually worth. A more expensive player is worth getting a price for the repair. For a more basic, budget machine it often cheaper to just replace it. Your description suggests it is some sort of issue with the disc motor or the lens motor. You will need to get a professional repairer to look at this.

HI, would you know what error code CY920 on my Marantz NR1607 means ?

The Marantz NR1607 is an AV Receiver, and the CY920 error code is not a recognized error code for this product. It's possible that this is a custom or specific error code for your device, and I would recommend contacting Marantz support or the manufacturer for more information. They may be able to provide you with a solution or more information on what the error code specifically means and how to resolve it.

The poweramp of my Marantz SR6004 AV Surrount Receiver only turns on after about 3 minutes.

Marantz DV 9500 DOES NOT PLAY ANY of normal CDs. Reads ONLY Super Audio CDs. What could be the cause for this fault?

  1. Hardware issue: The CD player may have a hardware issue, such as a damaged laser or faulty electronics, that is preventing it from reading normal CDs.
  2. Firmware issue: The CD player's firmware, which is the software that controls the device, may be outdated or corrupt, causing it to only read Super Audio CDs.
  3. Compatibility issue: The CD player may not be compatible with normal CDs, and is only able to read Super Audio CDs due to their specialized format.
In terms of adjusting the laser pick-up, it is generally not recommended to try to adjust the laser pick-up yourself, as it can be a delicate process that requires specialized equipment and knowledge. If you believe the issue may be related to the laser pick-up or other hardware, it may be necessary to seek the assistance of a qualified technician or the manufacturer. If the CD player is unable to read the content of a normal CD and is returning to 00:00 tracks on the display, it is possible that the issue may be related to the laser pick-up or other hardware. It is also possible that the issue may be related to internal ICs or other electronics, in which case it may be necessary to diagnose the issue further to determine the cause and find a solution.
