Battery is either ni-cad (nickel cadmium), Ni-mh (nickel metal hydride) or Li (lithium ion) I do not know what the original battery was. You may be able to obtain a Li version but may need a different charger as charging rates for each type vary.

All over the U.S.A. are "battery" stores. Try one of them. I live in Central Florida, there are about a dozen here, often 10-15 miles apart. Or try online at Amazon or E-bay.

Here is the number to call for free replacement batteries: 800-645-8823 Good luck with getting free batteries. I read on another forum tho that the company doesnt offer free batteries anymore. I would recommend buying a better quality drill. Mansfield is junk and made in China. Buy a DeWalt

Hi there its the trigger its no good.I have had 2 of these drills in 18months & the trigger melts inside & sets onfire.The motor will be ok but the trigger gets that hot it welds its self to the inside.THERE IS NO UK CUSTOMER SUPPORT! DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE DRILLS
