Procedure to bypass microswitches on makita LB1200F bandsaw?

Just join the two wires together if they work by providing current, or disconnect if they work by being open circuit. Microswitches are normally safety related so bypassing them is not recommended. Just replace the switch if it is faulty. £13.99 https://www.google.com/search?q=microswitches+on+makita+LB1200F+bandsaw ..

Question moved from Motorcycles category. Full make and model helps in questions like this. New 'bushes' or 'carbon brushes'. Are the bearings free? Is the fan spinning? It will overheat if it runs slow as the speed moves the air to keep it cool. running hot https://www.google.com/search?q=angle+grinder+runs+very+hot running slow https://www.google.com/search?q=angle+grinder+runs+very+slow ..

Have makita demo saw with auto decompression but will not decompress when trying to start

If your Makita demo saw has an auto decompression feature but is not decompressing when attempting to start, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Check that the decompression valve is functioning properly. It could be clogged or stuck and not allow the engine to decompress.
  2. Check the air filter. A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine, making it difficult for the saw to start. Clean or replace the air filter as needed.
  3. Check the spark plug. A fouled or worn spark plug can also make it difficult for the saw to start. Clean or replace the spark plug as needed.
  4. Check the fuel filter. A clogged fuel filter can restrict fuel flow to the engine, making it difficult for the saw to start. Clean or replace the fuel filter as needed.
  5. Check the carburetor. A dirty or clogged carburetor can restrict airflow and fuel flow to the engine, making it difficult for the saw to start. Clean or rebuild the carburetor as needed.
  6. Check the fuel level. If the saw runs out of fuel, it will not start. Make sure the fuel tank is filled with fresh fuel.
It's worth mentioning that if the saw is still under warranty, it is best to contact Makita's customer service and ask for assistance. If you are not comfortable working with the engine, it is best to consult a professional or refer to the service manual for your specific saw.

Trouble shooting makita 4300 generator

Taking the carb completely off is not the same as just shooting gas into the manifold opening. Way to much air will keep the motor from firing. Before just reinstalling the carb remove the float bowl and check the pilot jet to make sure it is clear and not clogged. Most likely it will have a clogged pilot jet. If you just put the carb back on without checking to see if the jet isn't clear, you can try squirting gas into the back of the carb to see if it fires up. It should at least fire up for a quick second and then die out. If that happens it is a dirty clogged pilot jet. Reaffirming you will need to service your carb.

I'm rebuilding a MAKITA 7301 Concrete Saw is there anyone with experience that could you give me a list of things I might as well change out now or check. I'd like this saw to last a while.

They are a reliable saw. Presumably you are replacing the piston and rings and honing the bore. Strip and clean the carburetor. Replace the spark plug and lead. https://www.google.com/search?q=MAKITA+7301+SAW+full+service ..

I have a Makita LS1013 Dual Slide Compound 10-inch Miter Saw. It was working one minute and next no power!

How did you measure the power at the switch Live to N ? that would rule out a break in the cable all that is left is Armature ,Stator coil and wiring to both.

Electric Makita HP2051 chuck won't close

I don't really know how a chuck works. I use them often on a drill press, cordless drills, etc. My grandfather always said to "check the simple things first." Could something have gotten in the way like saw dust, dirt.....? ? I might suggest trying using compressed air and blow it out? You can buy a can of compressed air at office depot.
