F-117 Nighthawk 6402 series, moisture has entered

This watch is resistant to 200m so shouldn't allow water in at swimming pool depths.

It looks as though one of the seals has failed.

If it still under warranty (less than 2 years old), then contact your nearest authorized dealer

To find your nearest dealer or their service center, go to Luminox.com. At the top of th epage you will see a list of links.

That is an EOL(end of life) function and is your watchs way of telling you that the cell has become low and needs replacing. Good luck :)

I used to have similar problems when I used to used leather (rigid) straps. I found that flexing the wrist used to pull the straps off the watch.

I got over the problem by using expanding bracelet. I have never had the problem since (30 years!).

My Luminox Alarm Chronograph seems to work in all

It can be the battery if your watch model has separate battery for alarm function. If your watch originally is running on one battery, then check out if the sound transmitter spring is missing. Sound is transmitted through the coil spring or small peace of metal which is sticking upwards out of movement, so, when the case back is fitted to the case, the spring is touching sound membrane inside the case back, thus enabling transmit vibrations (sound). If there is nothing as I just described, you will need to get one and fit it to the movement. If there is such a spring, then movement has micro electric fault and should be fixed. In both cases you have to visit your nearest watchmaker and ask for help.

Bezel won't ratchet anymore. Perfectly smooth

If this is stuck and just wont turn that means its full of yuk and muck and just needs cleaned ou, take to a good jeweler who can clean under the bezel...if it turns but simply doesnt click that means that the click spring mechanism is broken and would have to be sent to Luminox for repair...good luck :)

Need new bezel

Try parsecent.com, you can get a replacement bezel there...

and you are right, you are basically buying a new watch as this model is made of plastic and cannot be 'polished'. Refurbishing it means that it will look new and everything on the outside would have to be replaced...good luck :)

Do I have to wind the watch after I replace the

No you don't have to wind this watch..it is a quartz movement powered by a battery...the only thing the crown is used for is resetting the time and date, you are probably thinking of a mechanical watch which is powered by a mainspring...:)

Setting time

Pull out crown and turn counterclockwise..if hands wont move then you need to take to a reputabble jeweler to have repaired, you have either a set lever problem or there is rust in stem tube and wont allow it to turn...good luck :)

Luminox 8200 series dive watch date set issue

This movement has a really quirky thing going on, its one of the few movements that you can actually turn the hor hand to set the day forwards or backwards...so on a day that goes from the 31 to the 1st it will advance fine, if there is no 31 for that month you can turn the hour hand 2 cycles and it will advance through the 34, continue to the 1st and set time...date can also be set by turning the hour hand backwards thru the dates...go ahead it doesnt 'hurt' the movement a bit, its made for this...so in oither wiords, when you get a new cell and the date is lets say the 15th and your watch says its the 2nd, just advance the hour hand through until you hit 15 and yoiu are good to go...hopefuly this help and didnt confuse much...good luck:)

Luminox Marine 1590

This model is like any other analog watch, only difference is the screw-down crown...turn counter-clockwise until crown pops up...pull out 2 clicks and set time...push in 1 click to set the date, then into case completely...remember to screw down watch back into case...good luck :)

My problem is not mechanical. Rather, an issue of

Well I'm, not an expert of fake Luminox, only the real ones, but I will tell you that a 'real' Luminox will be heavy to the touch, good quality steel...another thing that is a must if it is real is the glass tubes on the hands and on the dial at the hour markers...they are very small glass tubes that are not 'charged' by putting in light, they stay lit regardless of any surrounding factors...most fake watches will have 'painted' on glow onto the dial and especially the hands...this model also has a screw-down crown and sapphire crystal...hope this has helped...good luck :)
