Not sure about these but try holding the on / off button in for about 30 seconds. The TOMTOM resets when you do this, maybe the 3500 does the same?

Hey Jw.. I have the same issue with my 113CHD..All I do is unplug the all the connectors.. replug them and it starts working again...????.

Certainly you can. We did that last year with our Raymarine Tridata. Easy peasy.
