This is caused by one of the alarm settings. It could be as simple as motion alarm. It can also be a bad or no hard drive or video loss. So the best thing to do is check everything and turn off the motion alarm and any other alarm you want to turn off. It's all in the admin settings under alarm. Good luck.

It is difficult to say not knowing what type of camera. Most likely one is power cable and another is video out.

Do you have a indoor camera and you are looking outside through a glass window? You might be getting a reflection back from the glass from the night vision

to begin any sort of recording...you first have to format the hard drive..(record menu)..it will never record without doing this first.

camera is overheated..unplug for 30-45 seconds..plug back in.

configure your router..open ports 80 and 9000...and assign each system its own address..go to lorextechnology.com and create a ddsn account, follow instructions..and your connection problem is resolved. you will need your model number handy (underneath dvr).
