How do I make sure my Logitech K480 is turned off to save battery life

There's a power switch on the bottom of the keyboard. Other than that, I guess you could rotate the selector to a device you don't have paired to it. But that might make it flash a few minutes waiting to pair..

No reponse when pressing any button on Harmony 650

i would suggest these items below hope they will help otherwise order another one from amazon or elsewhere Logitech Harmony 650 Troubleshooting Universal remote released in 2009. Easily identifiable by the Color Smart Display. Buttons Not Responding When you press a button, nothing happens.

Dirt in the Key

If there appears to be dirt or another object blocking the button, remove the button and clean the area using a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol.

Physical Switch is Broken

If the problem persists after cleaning, the button switch may be broken and needs replacement. Check out the replacement guide for how to do this. Battery Drains Quickly Even while not in use, the battery runs down abnormally fast.

Faulty Battery

If your batteries are leaking, remove the batteries and clean the socket before inserting new ones. If that is not the case the batteries may have also been drained and are in need of replacement.

Screen not Dimming Properly

Check to make sure that there are no buttons that are stuck by removing the batteries and massaging the buttons. If that does not work then try switching it in and out of safe mode a few times. If the problem persists then you will need to replace the screen. Refer to the replacement guide for instruction on how to do this. Device Resetting The remote resets all connections with other devices seemingly at random.

Faulty Battery Connections

Check to make sure that your batteries are well seated in the connectors. If they are, check to make sure they are not dead by replacing them. If the remote still does not work, try testing the battery connectors to see if they are loose. If they are, consider replacing/repairing them. Cracked/Broken Case Often when dropped, the case may break in various places.

Broken Case

Test the face plate of the remote by gently pushing on it. If you see a a crack or a break then it might be time to replace it, this is merely a cosmetic issue, but can become a problem when buttons can become dislodged. Unresponsive Remote The remote simply won't function or respond to commands.

Faulty Motherboard

Test the remote by viewing the infrared LED with a digital camera or a cell phone camera. Press any button on the remote and watch the screen to see if the LED lights up, and if it does not check to make sure that your batteries are not dead. If the remote is still not functioning properly or at all that could mean that the circuits have shorted out on the motherboard and it may need to be replaced. Use the Motherboard Replacement Guide to help you with this.

Its all in the updated drivers, however the one OS "XP" may not have drivers available any longer. Remember XP is no longer supported and thus no one wants to write code for hardware being used with XP operating systems.

Hi! I own a Logitech

given that the microgear function is a very tight mechanism, it is probably a small alignment issue. I would open it back up and check the push button seating and the connecting parts inside where it 'flips the switch'. I'm not sure if it is mechanical or digital; it feels mechanical. if so, it is very sensitive to that alignment. if digital, governed by a micro-switch on the circuit board, then check the board for any damage done during the cleaning of trash in the edges of the micro-switch socket preventing it from operating.

I have the logitech docking speaker s-0329A how can i get my iphone 4 to work on it as when i put it on it says it does not support it and can i use an android phone on it through the headphone jack?

The Aux connection should work for either an iphone or android phone. That would be a good test to see if the speaker is still working. The top mounted iphone/ipod connecter can collect dirt and lint that will cause the proper connections to be made. Try cleaning these.

Logitech remote how do I play disc

https://www.logitech.com/assets/44645/13/harmonyone-user-guide.pdf You must press the DEVICE button to select among the just what the remote may control. Once you select which one, the other controls on the remote (such as PLAY) work. Page 11 of the guide above mentions this device button. Note that when you are finished using the DVD, you may have to select DEVICE again to select the TV so the buttons will then control the TV. Old remotes require you to enter codes to operate extra devices and indeed the TV but I think your remote may not require such.

Logitech x-540 speakers worked great with my old laptop but now I have an ASUS laptop and the light comes on on the volume controller but I get no sound and everything is hooked up correctly

Here's a link to the manual. https://www.logitech.com/assets/35723/setup-installation-guide.pdf This is important: 3. A. If you have a PC and a: • 6, 7 or 8 channel (5.1, 6.1 or 7.1) sound card: Connect all 3 colored plugs from the audio input cable to the color-coded jacks on the sound card. 1. If jacks on your soundcard are not color coded, plug the audio input as follows: • green to front L/R (or #1) • black to rear L/R (or #2) • orange to center / sub (or #3) • 4-channel sound card: Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to your sound card's front jack and the black plug to your sound card's rear jack. Do not use the orange plug. • 2-channel sound card: Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to the "line out" jack on your sound card. Do not use the black or orange plugs.

I need to correctly program my 890 logitech remote

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. https://homenol.blogspot.com/ https://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ https://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Programming Notes • If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote. • Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality. This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts. /

Hi, I have logitech wingman

In windows, go to your control panel in settings. In there, there should be a link for 'game controllers' or similar. Make sure your joystick is plugged in. When the settings start, you should see the joystick mentioned. Click this and then calibrate it from there. Don't forget to save before leaving.

I have an old Logitech mouse/keyboard but never used because I left the usb receiver in my work computer. Logitech Wave M/N Y-RCP140 P/N 820-000396. I hate to throw it out.

The little USB receiver is a matched set to the keyboard and when you loose it, the keyboard is not usable any longer.
