someone spilled somehing on the remote ...remove the battry cover and batteries.remove the two screws in the battery compartment and pry the top away from the bottom so as to open the remote.lift the rubber button pad away from the parts board and rinse in water.DO NOT SCRUB the small black buttons on the back of the pad... or the parts board... GENTLY rinse and wipe away any sticky goo though.let dry completely ... paper towels work better than terry cloth.. if you want to pat it dry.reassemble and it should be as good as new.place the remote in a ziplock bag when the kids come to play...

Its system settings should be checked. Refer its user manual for details. It it is multisystem one, set the system settings to 'Auto;.

the model listed here has several screws===lay set down on padded surface and remove them, if you have some reason to open it let me know as I worked on a lot of them.Most common issue is a tiny pop when try to turn on but set does not make it on.

I would use a free translation program from the internet to translate words so you can locate in the menu the setting to change

The Loewe have only a few problems---this is not one of them---disconnect it and a cable or sat box if used from power for while and try again----its getting harder to find shops who will work on these at parts are scarce and expensive (remote wholesales for 85 dollars--I have 2 extra ones).Very expensive set when new but if not something easy maybe let it go......

My Loewe did the same thing tonight. The picture went blank and the rered and green light came on together. Any suggestions?
