I there a "hub cap" on the outside of the wheel? if so, he'll have to pry it off. Under it, you will probably find a speed nut. This is a piece of spring steel with a center hole slightly smaller than the axle. When they put these toys together, it's a toss up as to whether to put forth the extra time and expense of putting a screw thread on the ends of the axle shaft and wrenching on two 5 cent lock nuts or just putting one of these 10 for a penny speed nuts on the end of a tool and shoving it over the end of a shaft of something that most people would just throw away the first time that it broke. How do I know? I'm NOT one of those people that throws something away the first time that it breaks. :) This speed nut, if it is there, will have to be broken off and is usually not able to be saved and reliably reused. If your hubby is handy or knows someone who is, once he gets it apart, if he has a tap and die set, he could put a thread on the end of the shaft and install a 15 cent lock nut after he gets it back in place. Good luck and give your kid a hug for me. :)

There are likely wooden pegs locking the logs. You would have to leaver each one loose. Cannot imagine they they would be nailed together.

I’m trying to find the name of this Little Tykes play structure so we can get the instructions for it to put back together. We purchased it used from a online site.

oops failed to really read the instruction ay?? its needs those to keep the wheels from hitting the body of the car.. hardware stores have those little shiny things you hammered on that hold the wheels but youll have to bend them badly to get them off with pliers. made this same oopsy on a tricycle in my younger days. to get new shiny things you need to measure the metal shaft or tale it with you to the store.
